Upon meeting Japenese emporer Emperor Akihito last weekend, POTUS Barack Obama bowed. You may have heard about it, because this photo and video were played everywhere, former VPOTUS Dick Cheney even called the gesture a "sign of weakness" and ABC News is reporting that one Japanese newspaper is refusing to run the photo. Well, we don't know if a full 45-degree bow is a bad thing or not, but clearly Obama should just stick to firm hand shakes and smile, which he knows how to do all too well.
Some college kids even made a video and added some snazzy music.
