Priest: I'm Not Gay, 'Measure My Anus'

Fr. Andrés García Torres, a priest at Our Lady of Fatima parish in the town of Fuenlabrada, Spain, has been has removed from the diocese after a shirtless photo (above) of the him and a seminarian surfaced on Facebook. The diocese suspects Father Torres is a homosexual, but the 46-year-old who lives at home with his parents insists he's not gay and says and that the photo only show a friendship between himself and the seminarian. (Of the shirtless photo he says: it was a hot day.) To prove how not gay he is, he's willing to submit to a rectal exam. In an interview with Spanish TV, he said: "measure my anus to see if I have dilated." What?! First of all, that will not prove if you're gay or straight. He adds that the diocese has subjected him to "degrading treatment" because he was forced to speak with a confessor, undergo a psychiatric examination and take an HIV test. The diocese denies this and cites "pastoral reasons" as the reason for dismissal.
