Last Friday, Sammay Blackwell says a lunatic tried to kill her because she thought she was Casey Anthony -- the Florida woman who was acquitted of murdering her 2-year-old daughter earlier this month. At about 10pm that night Sammay said Shireen Nalley walked into the Chouteau, Oklahoma convenience store where she works and said "You look like Casey Anthony". She then purchased gasoline then left. Later, when she got off work, Shireen followed Sammay for several miles before ramming her minivan into her truck. "She hit me again, causing my vehicle to flip two and a half times, landing on the driver's side, and I just laid there playing dead," Sammay told News On 6. When police caught Shireen, she told them she was "trying to save the children." Cuckoo! She was charged assault and battery with a deadly weapon, leaving the scene of a vehicle collision, resisting arrest and reckless driving. She is being held on a $25,000 bond. Attention nutjobs: Casey Anthony is still in jail; she walks free this Sunday. She's not a black man in disguise, either.
Update, July 15: The folks over at TMZ are reporting that News on 6's story is sensationalized to the max. Sammay says "[News on 6] played it out to make it seem like it happened to me because I look like Casey Anthony....I never said I look like Casey Anthony and the lady never said I look like Casey Anthony [to the police]." We patiently await the news station's response.
