Elree Jones' face is permanently disfigured after he was stabbed during a late-night beer run on Aug. 30 in Chicago. The 30-year-old father of two says a white man entered the convenience store, walked directly toward him and stabbed him with a 7-inch. That lunatic, 50-year-old Mark Neal, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery, battery by means of a deadly weapon, battery resulting in bodily injury, and criminal recklessness by means of a deadly weapon and resulting in bodily injury. He wasn't charged with a hate crime, however. Elree insists the attack was racially-motivated, because during the stab-ation, Mark mumbled several racial slurs. Investigators say they're "looking into whether the incident can be classified as a hate crime." Elree -- who, interestingly, walked almost a mile after the attack to a friend's house -- is now left with an nasty scar across his face, which must be tended to four times a day to prevent infection.
