WATCH: The Beyoncé Bowl

Let's work! For those of you who were wondering why men in tights were throwing and catching a football at tonight's Beyoncé Bowl, we don't know what to tell you, but when Mrs Carter took the stage shortly after 8pm, the slay-ation was televised. Was it the best half-time show of all time? No. But Mrs Carter knows her brand and that was on full display tonight. As for whether Mrs Carer -- who was wearing a cropped black leather motorcycle jacket and leather bodysuit made with strips of python, iguana and lace by designer Rubin Singer -- was "absolutely singing live" on the the biggest stage of her career, we're not sure, so it may be time for another CNN investigation. One thing's for sure, however, she proved tonight why she's the greatest performer of her generation. Any questions?!

Sidebar #1: Obviously, we didn't buy Michelle's laughable statement that she would be busy tonight, so there was, in fact, a Destiny's Child reunion. Kelly! OMG Kelly!

Sidebar #2: Shortly after the concert was over, the stadium lost power for 34 minutes. (Apparently, Mrs Carter blew the power out at two rehearsals during the week. The NFL, the Superdome and the energy company all say her concert had nothing to do with the power outage tonight. But, CNN, which clearly has too much time on their hands, will ultimately get to the bottom of things.)

Sidebar #3: There were at least 120 dancers on stage.

Sidebar #4: Regarding the men in tights with the football, the Baltimore Ravens came out on top with a 34-31 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

Update: Mrs Carter announced her four-month long "The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour Starring Beyoncé," which kicks off in Serbia this April and ends in New York on Aug. 3. Tickets, which range from $49.50 to $254.50, go on sale Feb. 11 at 10am.
