Lady Runs Over Neighbor After He Refused to Repay Food She Loaned Him

One crazy person is off the streets tonight. According to police in Newport, Tennessee, 40-year-old Rebecca Strong and her neighbor, Earl Victor Williams, 42, were arguing for most of the day about food she had loaned him. Earlier that day, Rebecca noticed Earl entering his apartment with a beer, so she asked him to repay some of the food she had loaned him so she could buy food for her children. Depending who which report you believe -- the TV report, above, or the police report -- Earl either refused to give Rebecca any money or he handed her $5. But what's not in dispute is what happened next: Rebecca jumped into her minivan and ran over Earl then fled the scene. He suffered compound fractures and a head injury and remains hospitalized. Rebecca was arrested and charged with driving without insurance, driving on a revoked license, vehicular assault and leaving the scene of an accident.

Rachel Jeantel, The 'Ear' Witness With the Crabby Disposition

"Do you watch First 48?" That's what Rachel "DeeDee" Jeantel asked defense attorney Don West while on cross-examination Wednesday in the George Zimmerman murder trial, who's charged with murdering her friend (and probable jump off), Trayvon Martin. Rachel, who's 19 years old and is about to be a senior in high school this fall, is the state's star witness, because she was on the phone with Trayvon when he was shot and killed. She was back on the stand Thursday and her testimony was filled with holes, lies, inconsistencies, attitude, comedy and sass. Despite all of her "First 48" knowledge, Rachel probably lost the case for the prosecution.

Man Wanted By Police For Murder, Shoots at Reporters Covering the Story

Covering the news is doesn't always go as planned. On Tuesday in Willimantic County, Connecticut, a news photographer for local TV station almost became the story when a man wanted by police fired at him. According to reports, the photographer was on scene covering a massive manhunt for 34-year-old Andrew Samuolis, who is accused of killing his father, John Samuolis. (John's body was found inside in home and officers think he had been dead for several months.) As the photographer and his reporter went to cover the scene, they spotted Andrew running through people's backyards. You can see Andrew with a handgun and you hear the shot. When cops arrived, Andrew shot at them, too. One officer was shot in the arm, but is expected to be all right. Andrew was arrested and charged with criminal attempt to commit first-degree assault and criminal attempt to commit assault on a police officer. He's being held on $1 million bond. Wait, what, no murder charges?

Here's Video of a Squirrel Attacking a Snake

Earlier this month, a woman went out on her back patio in Gold Canyon, Arizona to find a gopher snake and a ground squirrel engaged in a fight. She called 911. When help arrived, one of the firefighters pulled out his camera to record this for the Internet. As you can see, the squirrel -- whom firefighters believe had a next nearby -- is gnawing on the snake's body. Firefighters eventually stepped in to break up the fight. The snake had a few nicks when it was released back into the desert but firefighters told me it looked like it would be just fine.

Here's Another Reason Why You Shouldn't Do Drugs

It's been well established that drugs will make you do really, really bizarre things -- like eat people. But in Columbus, Ohio, last weekend, a 41-year-old man from is recovering after he ripped off part of his penis while high on hallucinogenic mushrooms. The man was found naked, screaming and bleeding heavily at Ypsilanti Middle School while visiting Michigan around 1 a.m. Tuesday morning by officers who were responding to a burglar alarm. The man was taken into custody for his own safety and transported to the hospital. Police say that when questioned the man said he was in town visiting friends and had picked up the mushrooms earlier in the day. The man is still hospitalized and undergoing treatment. This story even made a queen clutch her pearls.

Was That a Read? Tennis Players Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova Are Shady

Defending Wimbledon champion Serena Williams caught a lot of flack last week after she commented on the Steubenville, Ohio, rape case, in which she seemed to show some sympathy for two teenagers convicted of raping a drunk 16-year-old girl while other students watched and texted details of the crime. In the interview, Serena seemed to partly blame the victim. "Do you think it was fair, what they got? They did something stupid, but I don't know," Serena said. "I'm not blaming the girl, but if you're a 16-year-old and you're drunk like that, your parents should teach you: Don't take drinks from other people. She's 16, why was she that drunk where she doesn't remember? It could have been much worse. She's lucky. Obviously, I don't know, maybe she wasn't a virgin, but she shouldn't have put herself in that position, unless they slipped her something, then that's different." (She's since called the victim to apologize.) That quote was published in a Rolling Stone magazine profile. In the same article, Serena threw shade at Maria Sharapova by saying, "There are people who live, breathe and dress tennis. I mean, seriously, give it a rest. She begins every interview with 'I'm so happy. I'm so lucky' – it's so boring. She's still not going to be invited to the cool parties. And, hey, if she wants to be with the guy with a black heart, go for it." Although she did not mention Maria by name in the article, its author surmised she was speaking about Maria, who is dating the Bulgarian player Grigor Dimitrov. Grigor was previously romantically linked to Serena. Then it was Maria's turn. During the Wimbledon press conference last Saturday, Maria told reporters, “If she wants to talk about something personal, maybe she should talk about her relationship, and her boyfriend that was married, and is getting a divorce and has kids.” Ding! She's referring to Serena's coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, who had been the coach of Grigor Dimitrov.

Pastor Jailed For Impregnating 15-year-old Girl

The pastor of Zion Plaza Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma was arrested Monday and charged with sexual assault of a minor child. The assault came to light after after a 15-year-old girl told officers she was about five months pregnant with pastor Gregory Hawkins' child. According to the girl, she had sex with the 54-year-old pastor numerous times starting when she was 14. She gave police copies of two recorded phone calls with Gregory in which he "admits to having sex with the victim and tells her several times how sorry he is." Jail records state "the defendant is recorded saying that he had sex with the victim because he thought she was "very sexy, attractive and beautiful." Say what now? The child predator posted a $50,000 bond and was released from the Tulsa County jail.

A Swedish homeowner was wondering who was puncturing the tires of his girlfriend's bicycle, so he installed a camera to keep watch. What the camera captured will leave anyone speechless. The film shows how a hooded man approaches the bicycle, punctures the tired and then proceeds to pleasure himself. While he's doing this, the pervert is holding a photo of his girlfriend. Just weird. Police in the city of Östersund are investigating whether there is any connection between the recent spate of masturbation bike attacks with similar incidents from 2007. A 35-year-old man was arrested in 2007 after having slashed the tires and ejaculated on more 20 bike seats in the city. The man was sentenced to secure psychiatric care and is reported to have since been released.

Rapper Fat Joe Sentenced to Four Months in Prison For Tax Evasion

Fat Joe may no longer be cracking out the hits, but he will be big in the big house. The 42-year-old rapper, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena was sentenced to four months in prison Monday over his earlier admission that he failed to file federal income taxes for two years. According to prosecutors, Joseph failed to pay taxes on some $3 million in income for the years 2007 through 2010. Federal prosecutors said the total tax loss to the government for those four years was $718,038. He pleaded guilty last December. Defense Attorney Jeffrey Lichtman said outside the federal court in Newark, NJ -- the same courthouse where Lauryn Hill was also sentenced to jail for tax evasion -- that Joseph had liquidated his retirement account to start paying the money back. In addition to the prison term, Joseph was sentenced to one year of supervised release and fined $15,000. He must report to prison by Aug. 26.

Man Pays Hooker For Sex, Demands Refund Afterward

This is Patricia Ann Seavey. She's a prostitute in Macon, Georgia. She's also 50 years old. Here's a funny story.

A Macon man was shot Friday morning while struggling with a man as he attempted to leave a motel after a rendezvous with a woman now facing prostitution charges, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office. When deputies arrived at the Villager Lodge, 5009 Harrison Road, at about 11:30 a.m., Christopher Bell, 23, was on the ground in the front parking lot with a gunshot wound to the hip, according to a news release. Bell told deputies he paid 50-year-old Patricia Seavey for sex. After the sex act, he demanded his money back. When Seavey refused, he pulled a gun on her and she complied, according to the release. As Bell tried to leave, he was confronted by several men. One of the men struggled with him and tried to take his pistol. The gun fired during the struggle and struck Bell, according to the sheriff’s office. The men took Bell’s gun and drove his 2002 Chevrolet Impala to the back of the motel where they abandoned it. Investigators are working to identify the men who confronted Bell, according to the release. Bell was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia by ambulance. He was listed in stable condition Friday afternoon. Deputies found Seavey behind the motel near where they found Bell’s car. She has been charged with prostitution, according to the release.

We haven't watching the Paula Deen saga from a distance, but things just got real. Since the world got wind that Paula admitted to using the N-word several times in the past, her world began to unravel. She went into hiding, canceled interviews, her PR team went into overdrive and then, the Food Network, where she has been on the air for years, fired her. Not a good week for Paula Dean. Just in case you were wondering, the N-word drop-ation came to light after one of Paula’s restaurant managers, Lisa Jackson, sued her for discrimination. She's seeking $1.2 million in damages. In a videotaped deposition, the toothy 66-year-old cook with the abnormally white smile (and those piercing eyes!), confessed to using the racial slur and even wanting black waiters to play the role of slaves in a wedding party she was planning. True story.

You know what? I just can't! A 66-year-old man from NYC is suing Bally Total Fitness for unspecified damages after he fractured a shoulder by slipping and falling in the steam room on what he described as a "foreign white substance." We're going to let you guess what that substance could be. Anyway, in his lawsuit Marc Moskowitz claimed that managers at the Bally Total Fitness gym on E. 55th St. were aware that gay "cruising and lewd behavior" is "commonplace at the steam room, sauna and locker rooms." In fact, he claims cursing "it is prevalent at Bally's across the country." This guy must be a genius or something, because everybody knows (thanks, Phaedra) there is cruising at every gym on this planet. Men cruise men, men cruise women, women cruise men, women cruise women. It all happens. Marc claims he's never seen it. He must be blind. Forget what we said earlier about him possibly being a genius.

"As a result of the aforementioned activities, there was bodily fluids and other evidence of sexual activity wherever it occurred throughout the gym," according to Moskowitz's suit in Manhattan Supreme Court. Instead of having staffers clean the areas, Bally simply "left a hose and liquid soap" for people to clean up themselves, the papers state. As a result, Moskowitz claims, he took a tumble last August and needed surgery to repair his shoulder. Moskowitz, 66, who lives on the upper East Side, did not state in the papers how much he was seeking in damages and declined to discuss the case with a reporter. In the lawsuit, Moskowitz defined "cruising" as "the act of searching for homosexual partners in public places" and claimed "it is prevalent at Bally's across the country." Moskowitz also insisted he had no idea these kinds of sexual shenanigans were going on when he joined the gym. "In fact, I didn't know about it," his lawyer, David Grover said. "Unless you're involved in that lifestyle you would not know that." Moskowitz is not gay, Grover added. "They used to have somebody at the gym who monitored this kind of activity and stopped it from happening," the lawyer said. "A few years ago, they stopped doing this." Nobody was policing the Bally's gym steam room - and there was just one gent inside shvitzing - when a Daily News reporter poked his head inside Wednesday. The floor was slick and the two lights barely cut through all the steam. "I'd say it's not that dark down there," said gym manager Kyrell Buckhead, who said it is cleaned regularly. "It's a wet and slippery kind of place." Buckhead, who has worked for Bally for eight years but has been at this gym just since February, insisted he knew nothing about guys "getting together" in the steam room. He also described most of the clientele as "working class." Buckhead's claims run counter to the Cruising Gays City Hookup Guide website, which has this review of his gym: "There are 2 LIGHTS in the Steam Sauna. The rear light is out 1/2 the time. When it is OFF the party is ON."

Neighbors Call Cops on Man Eating Thai in His Backyard

Something about this is just weird. Police were called to a home in Bothell, Washington, after neighbors heard a woman screaming. Cops found a man and a woman having sex in the back yard. That woman, Love Thai, called the media to confirm she was, in fact, boning the homeowner and that the nosey neighbors should mind their business. She said her lover is not a murderer and is an awesome man. Wait, what? The homeowner is Allan Smith. He's a "person of interest" in the February murder of his estranged wife, Susann Smith. She was found dead inside the same home with head injuries. Love Thai (is that's her real name) adds: "What really breaks my heart is that his neighbors haven't come and just cooked him a home-cooked meal. Help him, he's hurting." Girl, isn't that why you're on the payroll?

Man Claiming to Be Robot Attacks Women Working Out in Park

Can you imagine the horror. While you're getting your group fitness on -- sheesh, bathing suit season is here -- only to be interrupted by a crazy person?

A number of women in a fitness class in Seward Park were attacked Saturday morning by a man armed with a stick and later claiming to be a robot, according to the Seattle Police Department. According to the police report for the incident, the women were exercising in one of the park's picnic shelters around 10:30 a.m. when a shirtless man in his 50s approached from a trail and yelled, "You better get the [expletive] out of here. You have 30 minutes. I have this shelter. Get your skanky [expletive] out of here." One of the women later told an officer they checked the schedule for the picnic shelter, and no one had it reserved. But, the suspect reportedly came back about 15 minutes later armed with a sharp stick and started yelling at the group again. As the class members were moving their belongings to a grassy area away from the shelter, the suspect pushed one of the women to the ground, cutting her lip, and then punched another woman in the face, knocking her to the ground, according to the report. The woman who was punched in the face later complained of a swollen forehead and sore shoulder. The group retreated to one of the women's cars and called police while, according to a witness who had been walking nearby, the suspect continued to yell at them. Officers arrived and found the suspect near the park's bathrooms. Officers noted the man, who was reportedly rambling about being a robot while being handcuffed, appeared to be suffering from a mental illness. He was booked into King County Jail for investigation of assault.

Man in Coma After Liquid Nitrogen Dumped into Pool During Party

A pool party in Mexico went horrifically wrong when organisers poured liquid nitrogen into the water, leaving one partygoer in a coma and eight others in hospital. According to reports at the party, which was hosted by drinks company Jägermeister on Saturday, staff tried to create a smoke effect by pouring four buckets of the substance into the pool. The liquid nitrogen reacted dangerously with the chlorine in the water, creating a poisonous cloud which left partygoers fighting to breathe, health officials said. Some partygoers fell unconscious and slipped under the water while those outside the pool called for help. Nine victims were pulled from the pool by paramedics and rushed to the nearby Campestre Medical Hospital in Leon, where many were diagnosed with cardiovascular problems. One victim, 21-year-old Jose Ignacio Lopez del Toro, remains in a coma in intensive care.

16-year-old Boy Stabbed to Death While Trying to Protect His Mother From Her Ex-Boyfriend

Prezton Edwards, 16, who promised to promised to do whatever he could to protect his mother from her abusive ex-boyfriend, paid the ultimate price Monday morning. Police Dene McCarter, 43, calmly walked into the apartment and attacked Tanya Edwards, 39, in her bedroom. Prezton jumped on the attacker’s back in an attempt to stop him and was stabbed in the neck. Police said that after Dene walked away Prezton stumbled to the apartment complex sidewalk and died in a neighbor’s arms. His mother suffered as many as 20 knife wounds and is currently in the ICU. Dene was arrested hiding in his truck under an overpass.

Allen Iverson's Ex-Wife Claims He Kidnapped Their Children, Went Into Hiding

The ex-wife of former NBA baller Allen Iverson recently filed papers in court claiming Allen kidnapped their children, ages 3 to 16, and hiding out in Atlanta. (The couple has five kids.) According to the court documents, Tawana Iverson was granted sole custody of the children and she claims Allen, who has an alcohol addiction, took the children in late May and has been living in a hotel since. A reporter from the local NBC affiliate caught up with the 38-year-old at the hotel as he was walking his kids to a car and asked him about Tawana's allegations, which he denies. "They say I stole my kids? That's what they say? That's up to you to believe. I'm not going to comment on it....If that's what you believe and people think I'm crazy enough to do than so be it." If this reporter was able to find Allen that easily, the courts and law enforcement can find him, too. So we don't know what Tawana is talking about. Plus, he's driving a Maybach -- that's not exactly the kind of vehicle one drives if he's in hiding. Just sayin'.

Woman Quits Job at Dollar Store Over Fear of Contracting Scabies

Latonia Brown says she started working at a the Dollar General in West Florissant, Missouri last weekend, but quit a few hours later after she noticed a co-worker has "the scabies," a highly contagious skin disease caused by "infestation of the skin by the human itch mite." Say what?!!! Latonia quit and alerted the media. She told the local FOX affiliate “She said what do you think this is and I said that`s the scabies. You`re up in her interacting with the customers like its nothing and she stated to me that she believes she got it from a woman who came in and her hands were all messed up.” Scabies is transmitted through skin to skin contact. It's treated with creams and medications.

According to the CDC: "Human scabies is caused by an infestation of the skin by the human itch mite. The microscopic scabies mite burrows into the upper layer of the skin where it lives and lays its eggs. The most common symptoms of scabies are intense itching and a pimple-like skin rash. The scabies mite usually is spread by direct, prolonged, skin-to-skin contact with a person who has scabies. Scabies occurs worldwide and affects people of all races and social classes. Scabies can spread rapidly under crowded conditions where close body contact is frequent. Institutions such as nursing homes, extended-care facilities, and prisons are often sites of scabies outbreaks."

Tranny Arrested For Second Illegal Butt Injection Homicide

We all know pumping parties kill, so it's no surprise that Tracey Lynn Garner, who was arrested last September after a woman she injected with illegal silicone died, was arrested Thursday and charged with a second charge of depraved heart murder. This one in connection with the death of Marilyn Hale, who died after she paid Tracey $1,500 for illegal butt shots.

Tracey Lynn Garner, 53, of Jackson, formerly known as Morris Garner, was arrested Thursday and charged with one count of depraved heart murder, the state attorney general's office said in a news release Monday. The news release said Garner injected "a silicone substance" into Marilyn Hale, of Selma, Ala., on Jan. 13, 2010, to do a buttocks enhancement and Hale died. The procedure was done at Garner's home in Jackson, according to an indictment from a Hinds County grand jury. The indictment does not say whether Hale died the same day she received the injections. "Our intellectual property task force is involved in these cases to investigate the possibility that the substances injected into the victims were a counterfeit version of silicone," Attorney General Jim Hood said in the statement. Depraved heart murder is a legal term for action that demonstrates "callous disregard for human life" and results in death. Conviction is punishable by life in prison....Garner had been on house arrest awaiting trial in a similar case in the death of an Atlanta woman, Karima Gordon, 37. Authorities say Gordon died from blood clots in her lungs a few days after being injected with "a silicone substance" on March 16, 2012, at Garner's home in Jackson. Garner was arrested in September 2012 in Gordon's death and charged with depraved heart murder. At the time, authorities identified the suspect as Morris Garner, a man. Colette has said Garner was born a man but has had procedures to become female. Hinds County jail records now list Garner as a woman.

Man Bites Mall Sales Clerk

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who bit a 20-year-old cosmetics employee at the Burbank Town Center in Burbank, California -- after he tried to kiss her.

The man visited Simply Mica, a makeup kiosk inside the mall in the 200 block of East Magnolia Boulevard, to buy what he said were cosmetics for a family member. He asked the employee about the lipstick she was wearing and requested to “bite those lips,” [Burbank police Sgt. Darin Ryburn] said. He went on to make several “unwanted advances” toward the employee, including grabbing her face and leaning in to go for a kiss. A friend of the employee stepped in after noticing she was in distress, but the man just directed his harassment at both women, Ryburn said, asking them to kiss each other, which prompted them to call security. Meanwhile, as the man attempted to kiss the employee again, she moved away, and that’s when he bit her on the upper back before fleeing the scene. The man was described as Asian, 19 to 20 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 130 to 140 pounds with brown hair. He was wearing a long-sleeved white shirt with red plaid, light blue jeans, a hat and diamond earrings. Anyone with information on his identity, the incident, or who may also have been a victim is encouraged to call the Burbank Police Department at (818) 238-3210.

Former NFL star Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson left the Miami jail Monday afternoon and called the judge who put him there a blessing in disguise. Earlier in the day, the 35-year-old appeared before Broward County Circuit Judge Kathleen McHugh to apologize for for disrespecting her courtroom when he slapped his attorney on the backside last week. She accepted his apology and cut back his jail term for a probation violation from 30 days to the seven days he had already served. On his way home, he told reporters: "I had a lot of time to reflect, a lot of time to think, think about where I have been, where I am now, and where I am going. Other than that man, it's just, I have to make my next move, my best move." He added: "A lot of people have tried to get me to slow down in life. Coaches, agent, lawyer, and there was one person that was able to do it, and that was my judge Ms. McHugh. Little does she know it, I love her to death. But basically, what she's been, is a blessing in disguise." He will remain in probation until October 16, receive counseling sessions twice a week and work on community service hours. Chad is on probation after pleading no contest to head-butting his then-wife, Evelyn Lozada, during an altercation last August. She quickly filed for divorce after barely a month of marriage and Chad, a six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver, was immediately released by the Miami Dolphins.

Man Says He Poisoned Passengers, Screams "Please God, Somebody Help Me...I'm Dead!'

A man aboard a United Airlines flight bound from Hong Kong to Newark, NJ claimed his fellow passengers on the plane had been poisoned and screaming about going to die. According to passenger, the unidentified crazy person in his 30s got up mid-flight and began talking about the CIA targeting him because he had "information related to Edward Snowden," the man who revealed the NSA's secret surveillance program. He continued was screaming about being afraid of being taken or killed by the FBI or CIA. The man was asking for the plane to be diverted. In an audio clip recorded by a passenger, below, you can hear him screaming over and over again: "Please God, somebody help me, please somebody help me, somebody help me...I'm dead, I'm dead, I'm dead!"


Several passengers tackled the man and helped flight attendants handcuff him. They helped keep him settled in place until the plane landed at Newark International Airport five hours later. More than a dozen Port Authority police vehicles were parked on the tarmac. Police went into the plane and removed the man in handcuffs. The man, wearing khakis, a blue shirt and a hooded jacket, was loaded on an ambulance and taken away where we presume he'll get the medical attention he needs. An FBI spokesman said there is no indication that any passengers had actually been poisoned.

Despite his rudimentary disguise -- a purple bandana pulled over his face -- the homeowner could tell it was her grandson, who had robbed her before. So, she ripped off the bandana to confirm her suspicion. The, identified as 22-year-old Thomas Clark -- shoved her to the floor, grabbed her purse and ran. Police arrested him at his parents' home a short time later. Idiot.

Man Awakes to Pit Bull Eating His Toes, Foot

Last week, an ape ate a boy's butt, and Wednesday a 46-year-old disabled man from Brazil, Indiana, awoke to a bloody left foot and two missing toes. Roger Brown says his 6-month-old pit bull puppy, who's named Bo, gnawed on his foot while he slept. Roger, who suffers from diabetes, contends it was his fault for not tightly wrapping his wound like he did on previous nights. Furthermore, he's decided not to euthanize Bo, but to continue raising the animal as his pet. We'll update you on how this ends.

The National Weather Service confirmed an EF-1 tornado, with winds topping 110 mph, touched down in Atlanta yesterday. Zaniffa Ali hid behind a door as she saw the tornado through the skylight in the living room. "I saw it up there. It was just looking at me. I saw the big round cloud and a black little eye in the middle and it was just going whoooo-oooooo-oooo" she said. "I felt like the whole house was going to turn over. Man Calls 911 to Report Hooker He Hired Lied About Her Looks

A man in West Midlands, England called 911 Tuesday night to report he had arranged to meet a prostitute outside a hotel and he did not like the way she looked. The unidentified man told dispatchers the woman made "herself out to be better looking than she was." He told her what he thought about her, but she took his car keys, ran out of the car and then threw them back at him. Which led to this call to 911.

During the second call, a recording of which has not been released, he told the officer that he wanted to report the woman for breaching the Sale of Goods Act.Sgt Jerome Moran said: "It was unbelievable; he genuinely believed he had done nothing wrong and that the woman should have been investigated by police for misrepresentation. I told him that she'd not committed any offences and that it was his actions, in soliciting for sex, that were in fact illegal. Unhappy with the response, he then insisted on coming down to the police station to debate the matter. Although he refused to give me his details following our conversation, I was able to identify him and have since sent him a letter warning him about his actions. We recognize that prostitution often involves the exploitation of some very vulnerable members of the community and we will actively pursue those who seek to exploit that vulnerability."

The officer advised the man that public solicitation of sex was illegal and sent him a warning letter.

Lady Jailed For Injecting 5-year-old Daughter With Meth

Here's another entry for the oh-so-crowded field for Mother of the Year. Jacqueline Trousdale, 30, of Phoenix was arrested Monday for injecting her 5-year-old daughter with methamphetamine and amphetamine. According to court documents, on Oct. 14, 2012 the girl's father had confronted Jacqueline about her alleged drug use and that her two daughters had told him their mother was injecting them with a drug and then allowing men to molest them inside the hotel room. Child Protective Services was notified. and a urine sample from the younger child was taken. An exam revealed there were no signs of sexual assault or molestation. CPS took custody of the child after the examination concluded. It wasn't clear from the court document what happened to the 6-year-old child in connection with the case. Anyway, the results of the urine test came back last week -- yes, 8 MONTHS later -- and Jacqueline was arrested. She's charged with one count of child abuse, one count of endangering the life and health of a minor and one count of theft.

The bank claims it's the state's tax collection agency's fault (stemming from a $274 sales tax on a used car Ann purchased in 2004), but state's tax collection agency say it's the bank's fault.

Tossing Salad in Jail -- It's All Fun and Games Until Someone Gets Too Excited

A Manatee County Jail inmate working with food in the facility’s kitchen is facing additional charges after he reportedly added extra, unsanitary ingredients, all from his body. Sex offender Anthony Gentile was in jail for sleeping with an underage girl when he was working in the jail’s kitchen, helping to prepare salads on May 2. The food was intended for employees at the jail. Other inmates testified that Gentile, 43, took a spoon he was using and placed it in his pants, rubbed his genitals with it, then put it back in the salad. Gentile then continued to defile the salad by taking his penis and placing it in the food, according to the affidavit. He then finished off the salad by spitting in it. Gentile asked a jail employee to taste the salad to make sure it was “alright”. The kitchen worker tested the salad, unaware of what had happened. He told other inmates, “the (expletive) is out there eating it!” Several inmates assigned to work with Gentile in the prep room witnessed the incident and told officials what had occurred doing an interview. Gentile was charged with Battery of Facility Employee by Expelling Fluids and the bond for the charge is $1,500. However, he was already serving a 364-day sentence for lewd and lascivious battery charges, plus five years probation on top of his sex offender status. The suspect had been previously charged with five counts of lewd and lascivious battery in 2011 and similar charges in 2013.

UPDATE: This happened in May. The crazy person is 24-year-old Yeiner Perez. He was an acrobat with the East Bay performance troupe Clownsnotbombs, until he was fired after his arrest. He was charged with two counts of false imprisonment, four counts of battery and one count of sexual battery. Police originally arrested Yeiner and took him to the hospital for psychiatric evaluation, but released him without filing charges. He was then taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials who said that he might be facing deportation back to Colombia. He remains jailed on $100,000 bind.

Man Jailed For Shooting Pregnant Girlfriend in the Back of the Head: 'It Was an Accident'

Octavious Morrison, 20, is behind bars and charged with murder for the shooting death of his pregnant 17-year-old girlfriend and her unborn child. According to police, Octavia Shunta Love was found with a single gunshot wound to the back of the head inside a home in Jackson, Mississippi last Saturday. Octavious claims it was an accident, telling reporters: "Yes, the murder was accidental. I loved that girl." Whatever he said.

Police say the woman drove a dark colored mini-van, possibly a Chevrolet with a temporary tag. If you know her, call the Atlantis Police Department.

Man Raped Unconscious Woman to 'Save Her Life'

Just when we thought we've heard it all, comes this story out of Utah, about a gentleman who brought a woman back to life by raping her. At least that what he said.

A 50-year-old St. George man is in trouble after he allegedly found a female neighbor unconscious on her front porch and allegedly claimed he had sex with her to try to warm her. Rodger William Kelly told police he inserted his penis inside the unconscious 29-year-old on May 19 because "he was trying to save her life," according to court documents. "He said he did place it inside of her to try and get her temperature up," police wrote in a probable cause statement filed in 5th District Court. Police told Kelly that his actions amounted to rape. He was charged Monday with one count of first-degree felony rape. Kelly told officers that he found the woman passed out in front of her apartment and brought her inside his apartment, changed her clothes and put her on his bed. He said he then lay down next to her and hugged her to try to get her temperature up because she had been outside, then attempted intercourse to warm her. When police arrived, responding to an unconscious person call, they said they found Kelly inside his apartment giving the woman CPR. The woman later told police she thought she might have been raped and recalled being dressed in a pair of the man’s underwear and shorts. She told police she had bruising on her pelvic and upper thighs, according to court documents. The hospital was unable to complete a rape kit because the woman’s vaginal area was cleaned while she was sedated, according to court documents. Kelly told police that the two previously were intimate, but admitted the woman had told him before the incident that she didn’t want to have sex with him again.

Man Jailed For Ripping Off His Baby's Scalp While Fighting with His Wife

Kodi Weatherspoon of Fairborn, Ohio, is behind bars tonight after he ripped off part of his 1-month-old son's scalp while fighting with his wife last week. According to police, Kodi called 911 to report a "hurt baby" which happened as a result of a "little argument" with his wife. When police arrived, they found Shunta Darlene Weatherspoon in the apartment sitting on a couch holding an infant in a blanket. She had an U-shaped laceration on the right side of her face. She told officer her husband struck her several times in the face while she was holding their bay that wrapped in a blanket. When she pulled the blanket off the infant's head, officers noticed a large piece of the scalp -- roughly 2" to 3" in diameter -- missing and the skull was exposed. The missing scalp was found on the kitchen floor in front the kitchen sink. Both mother and child were rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Shunta received several stitches and surgeons were able to replace the child's scalp. Upon further questioning, Shunta told investigators Kodi bit her in the face and she thinks he either bit their child on the head or he pulled off the baby's scalp by pulling its hair while he was trying to pull her hair. Kodi told investigators he and his wife got into an argument about home schooling the children and he lost his temper. He admitted to striking Shunta at least 10 times, but doesn't remember how the child's scalp ended up on the floor. Oh, he also told police the child was not injured prior to him attacking his wife, but he saw the injury after he attacked her. Bwhahahaha! He was arrested and charged with aggravated felonious assault and endangering a child. A judge also approved a protection order, prohibiting him from having contact with his wife or son, should he be released from jail.

A seven-year-old boy is battling for his life at Kamwenge health center IV after a chimpanzee bit off his buttocks in Kibale National Park recently. The boy, identified as Paddy Ankunda, was attacked by the chimpanzee as he was walking along the forest in Kibale National Park in the afternoon together with a colleague identified as Amos Tukundane, 13. According to his colleague, the chimpanzee attacked him from behind as he was moving from his home in Kahungye Parish and when he tried to escape, it overpowered him and grabbed him before eating off his buttocks. The mother of Ankunda, who is currently taking care of him in the hospital, Mary Katusiime, said that she was shocked when she heard that her only son had been attacked by the ape. “I was shocked when I was called by a neighbor who broke the bad news to me. At first, I thought that he had died but when I reached the health center where he had been admitted, I realized that he had lost all the buttocks,” Katusiime said. She appealed to the government to ensure that people neighboring the protected areas are guarded from the apes which she said also attack their crops and destroy them. “We have a very big challenge here because the animals attack us," Katusiime said.

The US Government is Spying on Every Single American

If you use the telephone, send e-mails, peruse social networking sites -- or do anything on the Internet, for that matter -- a secret government agency is watching and recording your every move.

The National Security Agency and the FBI are tapping directly into the central servers of nine leading U.S. Internet companies, extracting audio and video chats, photographs, e-mails, documents, and connection logs that enable analysts to track one target or trace a whole network of associates, according to a top-secret document obtained by The Washington Post. The program, code-named PRISM, has not been made public until now. It may be the first of its kind. The NSA prides itself on stealing secrets and breaking codes, and it is accustomed to corporate partnerships that help it divert data traffic or sidestep barriers. But there has never been a Google or Facebook before, and it is unlikely that there are richer troves of valuable intelligence than the ones in Silicon Valley. Equally unusual is the way the NSA extracts what it wants, according to the document: “Collection directly from the servers of these U.S. Service Providers: Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, PalTalk, AOL, Skype, YouTube, Apple.” PRISM was launched from the ashes of President George W. Bush’s secret program of warrantless domestic surveillance in 2007, after news media disclosures, lawsuits and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court forced the president to look for new authority. Congress obliged with the Protect America Act in 2007 and the FISA Amendments Act of 2008, which immunized private companies that cooperated voluntarily with U.S. intelligence collection. PRISM recruited its first partner, Microsoft, and began six years of rapidly growing data collection beneath the surface of a roiling national debate on surveillance and privacy. Late last year, when critics in Congress sought changes in the FISA Amendments Act, the only lawmakers who knew about PRISM were bound by oaths of office to hold their tongues. The court-approved program is focused on foreign communications traffic, which often flows through U.S. servers even when sent from one overseas location to another. Between 2004 and 2007, Bush administration lawyers persuaded federal FISA judges to issue surveillance orders in a fundamentally new form. Until then the government had to show probable cause that a particular “target” and “facility” were both connected to terrorism or espionage. In four new orders, which remain classified, the court defined massive data sets as “facilities” and agreed to occasionally certify that the government had reasonable procedures in place to minimize collection of “U.S. persons” data without a warrant. [...] The technology companies, which knowingly participate in PRISM operations, include most of the dominant global players of Silicon Valley, according to the document. They are listed on a roster that bears their logos in order of entry into the program: “Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, PalTalk, AOL, Skype, YouTube, Apple.” PalTalk, although much smaller, has hosted significant traffic during the Arab Spring and in the ongoing Syrian civil war. Dropbox, the cloud storage and synchronization service, is described as “coming soon.” [...] In exchange for immunity from lawsuits, companies such as Yahoo and AOL are obliged to accept a “directive” from the attorney general and the director of national intelligence to open their servers to the FBI’s Data Intercept Technology Unit, which handles liaison to U.S. companies from the NSA. In 2008, Congress gave the Justice Department authority for a secret order from the Foreign Surveillance Intelligence Court to compel a reluctant company “to comply.” In practice, there is room for a company to maneuver, delay or resist. When a clandestine intelligence program meets a highly regulated industry, said a lawyer with experience in bridging the gaps, neither side wants to risk a public fight. The engineering problems are so immense, in systems of such complexity and frequent change, that the FBI and NSA would be hard pressed to build in back doors without active help from each company. Apple demonstrated that resistance is possible when it held out for more than five years, for reasons unknown, after Microsoft became PRISM’s first corporate partner in May 2007. Twitter, which has cultivated a reputation for aggressive defense of its users’ privacy, is still conspicuous by its absence from the list of “private sector partners.” “Google cares deeply about the security of our users’ data,” a company spokesman said. “We disclose user data to government in accordance with the law, and we review all such requests carefully. From time to time, people allege that we have created a government ‘back door’ into our systems, but Google does not have a ‘back door’ for the government to access private user data.” Like market researchers, but with far more privileged access, collection managers in the NSA’s Special Source Operations group, which oversees the PRISM program, are drawn to the wealth of information about their subjects in online accounts. For much the same reason, civil libertarians and some ordinary users may be troubled by the menu available to analysts who hold the required clearances to “task” the PRISM system. There has been “continued exponential growth in tasking to Facebook and Skype,” according to the PRISM slides. With a few clicks and an affirmation that the subject is believed to be engaged in terrorism, espionage or nuclear proliferation, an analyst obtains full access to Facebook’s “extensive search and surveillance capabilities against the variety of online social networking services.” According to a separate “User’s Guide for PRISM Skype Collection,” that service can be monitored for audio when one end of the call is a conventional telephone and for any combination of “audio, video, chat, and file transfers” when Skype users connect by computer alone. Google’s offerings include Gmail, voice and video chat, Google Drive files, photo libraries, and live surveillance of search terms. Firsthand experience with these systems, and horror at their capabilities, is what drove a career intelligence officer to provide PowerPoint slides about PRISM and supporting materials to The Washington Post in order to expose what he believes to be a gross intrusion on privacy. “They quite literally can watch your ideas form as you type,” the officer said.
