Driver Leads CHP on High-Speed Chase, Wipes Out Spectacularly

A man is currently in custody after leading cops on a high-speed chase from Sonoma County to Los Altos Hills this afternoon. According to the California Highway Patrol, officers attempted to pull over a Nissan Pathfinder for speeding, but the suspect refused to stop and led officers on a pursuit that topped 100 miles per hour. During the hour-long chase, one of Pathfinder's tires burst and the man lost control, crashed and flipped over. He then calmly stepped out of the vehicle and began to survey the scene. Officers shouted at him to get down on the ground. He was arrested and taken to a hospital in an ambulance.
