Miami Gardens Police Chief Stephen Johnson was fired after he was arrested on suspicion of soliciting prostitution last weekend. According to police, Stephen answered an online ad placed and negotiated with an undercover detective posing as a prostitute for a $100 2-girl special. At 6:20 p.m. Friday, he arrived at the Dania Beach hotel, walked up to the room and knocked on the door. He was allowed in the hotel room by an undercover detective and arrested after he gave the detective $100 as agreed upon during the phone conversation. Upon his release from jail the next morning, Stephen said the stress of his job overwhelmed him: "The stress overwhelmed me, and I made a very bad decision to deal with that moment that I've never experienced before." And yes, he's married. Awkward.
