Family Outraged Medical Examiner Took Too Long to Pick Up Murder Victim's Body

This is story is insane. A family of a 22-year-old, whose body was left on his lawn for several hours after he was gunned down in a drive-by shooting last weekend in Detroit, is outraged and was prepared to riot. Mind you, they weren't outraged about the killing or at the shooter(s) who killed their loved one, but at the lone medical examiner who did not come by to take the body to the morgue in a timely manner because he had to pick up 11 other bodies that day. Are we missing something?

Anywho, when a Detroit cell phone clerk told a woman the phone her son purchased two weeks ago was final sale and there are no refunds or exchanges, she looses her sh*t. The woman, whose named is Stephanie, even mooned the store clerk, who caught the entire meltdown on tape.

These two were caught having sex. According to police in North Charleston, South Carolina, they were called out to the Home Depot round 8:38am after the two suspects were spotted entering a display shed and closing the door behind them. Inside they found Emily Craig, 20, partially clothed with the top of her dress untied and hanging at her waist, and Shaun Bowden, 31, was not wearing a shirt and his pants were down to his knees, exposing his penis. They were arrested. Y'all be careful. Those sheds are death traps.

HIV-Positive Man Admits to Having Sex With More Than 300 Men He Met on Craigslist

Intentionally infecting persons with HIV is criminal. Police in Dexter, Missouri have charged David Lee Mangum, 37, with reckless exposure to HIV infection after police say he admitted to having more than 300 men he met on Craigslist. David's secret was exposed after his ex-boyfriend tested positive for HIV last month. The victim said he first met David in October 2012 through a Craigslist men for men ad. He told police he asked David before intercourse if he had any diseases and he told him no. The couple had sexual relations up to 20 times from October 2012 to June 2013 and never used protection. The two lived together off and on from November 2012 to June 2013 when the victim told police he ended the relationship after learning David cheated on him. David admitted to testing positive for HIV in 2003 and has had more than 300 sexual partners since then. David also admitted that during the 15 to 20 times he had intercourse with the victim, they would often include a third male during the intercourse. When asked why he did not disclose he was HIV positive to his sexual partners, David told police "fear of rejection." Police is asking anyone who may have been exposed to cease all sexual activity until they have been tested.

Brothers Charged With Assaulting Cops Who Profiled, Assaulted Them

Here's an interesting story out of Detroit -- courtesy of our favorite Detroit reporter who could quickly go over the edge. Naybon Moore, 26, and his brother Tywonn Mitchell, 20, were driving to a restaurant last May when two officers began profiling them and tailing their car. The officers followed the brothers inside the restaurant and demanded to see their IDs. The brothers refused. A brawl soon erupted and Naybon and Tywonn were arrested. Three months later, they are charged with assault and battery on a police officer, obstruction of justice and resisting arrest. They say the restaurant's surveillance video prove they did nothing wrong. The police department said "after intensive review of the video and interviewing the brothers," the cops did nothing wrong. How do you win against the police? In Detroit of all places? Where are Al and Jesse How You Doin Jackson's calls for justice?

Mother Forced Son to 'Beat the Gay Away' From His Brother

Mary Gowans of Whiteville, North Carolina, is facing child abuse (and possible hate crime) charges because she's a donkey. According to police, Mary, who does not have custody of her children, forced her 12-year-old son to "beat the gay away" from his 15-year-old brother because he visited a gay man, whom she heard had molested him. According to police, she forced the older boy to strip down to his underwear and then the younger boy repeatedly beat him with a belt. (The older boy was told not to fight back.) She admitted to beating her son in an effort to stop him from visiting the man and claims she was just trying to protect her son. But in another interview she says the boy's allegations are untrue, because her 15-year-old son was intoxicated when he reported the incident to police. Girl, bye!

Hello, 911? Come Quick! There's a Spider on My Couch!

Earlier this month, a 16-year-old girl from Forest Grove, Oregon called 911 because she saw a spider in her home. "I just kind of have a ridiculous question," she told the dispatcher. "I'm home alone and there is a giant spider on the back of my couch, and I'm talking giant. I've never seen a spider this big and I have no idea what to do." She told the dispatcher the spider was the size of a baseball, similar to a tarantula. "I don't know if you guys have anything I can do, or if I just sit here and stare at it and wait for someone to get home to kill it," she told the dispatcher. An officer was dispatched to the girl's home and killed the killer spider, which turned out to be 2 inches in diameter, with a rolled up newspaper. She was not charged with misuse of the 911 system. Wonder why?

A British man who's perpetually tardy has been diagnosed with chronic lateness. No, seriously. Doctors say 57-year-old Jim Dunbar's (pictured, above) has suffered from the disease (is it a disease?) for all of his life, but they can't treat him because the condition is incurable. Sounds deadly.

Late for work, late for football matches, late for holidays. He’s left women stood waiting on a first date, turned up to meals with friends hours after he should have and even arrived for funerals long after they’ve begun. But the 57-year-old says that it isn’t his fault after his poor timekeeping was diagnosed as a medical condition — at a Ninewells hospital appointment he was half-an-hour late for. Despite his chronic lateness diagnosis, Jim, who has spent most of his life living in Fintry, still struggles to arrive on time as he tackles the incurable condition. Recently Jim, who now lives in Forfar, tried to go to the cinema. Knowing that it could be a problem getting to Dundee’s DCA for a 7pm show, he gave himself an 11-hour head-start. He arrived 20 minutes late. Dundee United fan Jim said: “I got up at 8:15am to go to a David Bowie film at the DCA that started at seven o’clock. “That gave me 11 hours to get ready. I knew I was going there — and I was 20 minutes late. I get down about it and it’s disturbing for other folk when you arrive late.” In his livingroom, the former Dundee City Council worker has a special clock that uses radio frequencies tuned to a national transmitter to make sure that the time it displays is always exactly right, down to the second. It doesn’t help. He has tried wearing a watch, setting his clocks fast and trying to arrive at places early, but still hasn’t found a solution. [...] Jim’s condition affects the same part of the brain as Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and means that he cannot properly gauge how long things take. He says that consistently being late has caused him to lose dozens of jobs over the years. Jim said: “The reason I want it out in the open is that there has got to be other folk out there with it and they don’t realise that it’s not their fault. I blamed it on myself and thought: ‘Why can’t I be on time?’. I lost a lot of jobs. I can understand people’s reaction and why they don’t believe me. It is really depressing sometimes. I can’t overstate how much it helped to say it was a condition.”

29-year-old James Tadros is facing several felony charges, including attempted murder, false imprisonment and criminal mischief, after he beat and tried to murder a 9-year-old girl inside a bathroom at Best Buy in Jacksonville, Florida. According to police, a customer heard screams and rushed into the bathroom and James Tadros beating the girl. Police also said that he punched and kicked her, put a plastic bag over the girl's head and held her head down in the toilet.

8-year-old Boy Shoots, Kills 90-year-old Woman After Playing 'Grand Theft Auto IV'

An 8-year-old boy from Slaughter, Louisiana, fatally shot his elderly caregiver in the back of the head while she was watching television last week. According to police, the boy was playing 'Grand Theft Auto IV' just before he took his caregiver's .38 caliber handgun and intentionally shot 90-year-old Marie Smothers. Deputies say that they are not sure if the game triggered the violent behavior of the child, but it is something they are investigating. Because of his age, the boy will not face charges.

Just In Case You Were Wondering, It's Not a Good Idea to Swallow Tapeworms You Purchased Online to Lose Weight

We had no idea buying tapeworms online and swallowing them in a bid to lose weight was a thing. Thanks Internet.

Somewhere in Iowa recently, a patient told her doctor that she had purchased a tapeworm on the Internet and ingested it. The physician called the Iowa Department of Public Health to ask what to do for her. The department’s medical director, Dr. Patricia Quinlisk, advised to prescribe an anti-worm medication. Quinlisk recounted the incident Thursday in a weekly email to public health workers around the state. She noted that websites have been selling tapeworms as a weight-loss tool, and she warned against the practice. “Ingesting tapeworms is extremely risky and can cause a wide range of undesirable side effects, including rare deaths,” she wrote. “Those desiring to lose weight are advised to stick with proven weight loss methods — consuming fewer calories and increasing physical activity.” Tapeworms are parasites that can live in the intestines of animals and humans. They can be accidentally ingested in undercooked meat.

Raz-B in Coma, on Life Support in Chinese Hospital (UPDATE: LIES! LIES! LIES!

Raz-B -- the former member of B2K, who famously outed members of the boy band and claimed, among other things, the group's manager raped him and the other members and he was forced give J-Boog a professional -- is on life support in a Chinese hospital. Soon after he made those revelations he hightailed to China, where he has been living (and touring?) since. According to reports, Raz-B (real name De'Mario Thornton) was injured while trying to break up a fight in a nightclub Thursday and is currently comatose and on life support.

"He is in a coma and needs as many prayers as possible," his publicist Toy Jones said. During the altercation, Thornton, 28, was hit in the face with a glass bottle and suffered face lacerations the required multiple stitches and minor facial surgery. TMZ reports he was released from the hospital, but didn't wake up the next day. He was rushed back to the hospital by a backup dancer. News reports say the singer has been slipping in and out of consciousness Friday and has been breathing with the help of a ventilator. MTV reports that doctors are checking the singer's brain activity while he's hospitalized. This isn't Raz-B's first hospitalization while in China. In 2012, Thornton was hospitalized after tripping and falling through a glass door at a Shanghai hotel after a concert. The fall severely damaged his wrist, "destroying nerves, tendons and ligaments, exposing bone," according to MTV. Raz-B called it a "near-death experience." Thornton was a member of the R&B quintet B2K from 2002-2003. [...] Thornton has [...] been touring China since 2010 while recording a solo album in preparation for a U.S. comeback.

An online media report that R&B singer De'Mario "Raz B" Thornton was in a coma in China was a hoax, according to his agent. The R&B singer was hurt in a nightclub brawl near Shanghai, but his injuries were not serious, manager Elayne Rivers told CNN Monday. "The comments about Raz being in a coma did not come from his official representative," Rivers said. The singer's brother, who performs under the name Ricky Romance, said in a statement sent to CNN Monday afternoon that he had been "misled by unknown reasons. I was unfortunately unable to contact my brother at the time and then panicked," Romance said. "I then alerted as many people of this information hoping to gather facts... Since the source that gave me this information was what I thought to be legitimately reliable I didn't question I just believed. I apologize if I seem like I jumped to conclusions but a coma is a serious situation and it was concerning my brother whom is my best friend as well. I sincerely apologize for the confusion I caused if that is the case." A celebrity news website first reported the original member of the boy band B2K was in a coma Saturday, identifying its source as Toy Jones. Although Jones gave CNN the same information Sunday, she declined to give the name of the hospital -- only saying it was in the Zhejiang province near Shanghai. Several hours later, Jones sent CNN a written statement saying the singer had miraculously recovered from the coma and would be released from the hospital in days. The unedited statement reads: "Doctor says Numerous Brain scans showed that Raz's entire cortex- the parts of the brain that give us consciousness, thought, Memory and understanding is now functioning. Doctors say its a miracle and told his family that he stands a strong chance of survival and no signs of being brain dead for the rest of his life against all odds,Raz woke up this morning and is in stable condition We ask the the fans and media respect our family's privacy" CNN chose not to report the story until the story until details could be confirmed by the U.S. State Department, officials at the U.S. embassy in China or Chinese officials. Raz B also reached out personally to CNN in an e-mail asking that nothing be published. Rivers sent a statement distancing the singer from the coma report on Monday. When CNN asked Jones about the statement, she said "as far as I know it is true" that he was in a coma. She said she was hired by Raz B's family to get the story out to the news media. Dozens of news agencies around the world -- including in China -- repeated the coma story, giving Raz B more publicity in one weekend than he's likely had since his group disbanded nine years ago.

Wife Beater Terrence Howard Evicted After Squatting in NYC Apartment For Months

Poor Terrence Howard. The actor, who is best known for the role he plays and for beating up his wives, was recently evicted from the posh New York City apartment where he squatted in for more than a year without paying a penny for rent. His former landlord is now suing for back rent.

“He’s just another deadbeat. He owes about $55,000,” said lawyer Lawrence Wolf, who’s representing the landlord of the West Broadway apartment where Howard lived for months without paying rent, until finally getting the boot in May. “It’s a lot of money,’’ added Wolf of the allegedly owed back-rent. The lawsuit is just the latest in a string of troubles for Howard, whose ex-wife got a restraining order against him last week after he allegedly beat her up. “The Butler’’ actor had signed a lease on the swanky apartment in November 2011 but didn’t pay rent for months — and never moved out even when his lease was up in November 2012, according to the suit. Wolf said there was no dispute or argument between Howard and the landlord, BLDG Management Co., other than the nonpayment of rent. “There’s no dispute. The issue is strictly the nonpayment,” Wolf said. Howard has also been arrested multiple times in the past 15 years for assaulting women. Howard’s reps didn’t return calls.

Man Hugging Wife Triggers Hostage Scare

This story reeks of Florida, but alas it took place in Houston, Texas.

A loving husband triggered a massive police presence on Tuesday at a Cricket Store in southeast Houston. Police received a call that someone in the store was being held against their will. Actually, the store manager was hugging her husband goodbye. A passerby saw the embrace and thought she was being held hostage.

There's actually a little bit more to add. The passerby told police the man was pushing everyone out of the store, but kept one woman inside and would not let her out. The woman told a TV station she and her husband got into a "huge argument" and the whole hostage situation was all a “misunderstanding.” No one was arrested and the woman went back to work.

Homeless Lady Stabs Pregnant Homeless Lady Over Gift Card

Police in Columbia, SC, have arrested 27-year-old Remonoter Pete (“Re-Re") who stabbed a pregnant woman during a fight over a fast-food restaurant gift card. According to police, “Re-Re" and the victim were fighting over the gift card when the fight became physical and “Re-Re" used a knife to stab the victim in the heart and lung. The woman was taken to a local hospital where she she's in critical condition. The condition of the victim's unborn child is unknown.

For Vanity Fair's September issue, André Leon Talley, who's the editor of Numéro Russia (he left Vogue earlier this year), dishes the tea on gloves (they're important), his weight (he doesn't weigh himself) and about his sexuality. The 64-year-old says she's not gay. He's bi. Gag!

Thief Snatches iPhone From Woman's Hand, Police Gives Zero F--ks

With the city of Detroit bankrupt, police officers don't have the time or manpower to go after a known thief who steals cell phones out of peoples' hands at a local gas station. According to Aisha Harris, she was on her iPhone at the gas station over the weekend when the brazen thief "pushed [her] into the counter and grabbed [her] phone while [she] was actually talking on it." The store manager told Aisha: "The guy comes in every hour just to rob someone, and he'll leave and then come back within the next hour." Hours went by before police arrived. They told Aisha she's lucky. The known thief could have shot and killed her.

Babysitter Jailed After 3-year-old Girl Drowns While She Checks Her Facebook Page

Kariasa Thomas, 37, of Dallas was officially charged with reckless injury to a child after her best friend's 3-year-old daughter, Kanyce Giddings, drowned in a pool while while she checked her Facebook status and played with a pit bull.

According to the arrest warrant affidavit, on June 22 Thomas took her friend’s four children, who were 7, 6, 5 and 3 years old, to swim in a pool at her apartment complex in the 8600 block of Old Hickory Trail. Thomas also brought her 16-year-old daughter and husband, who is legally blind. The affidavit states that when the group arrived at the pool about 7 p.m., the pool was closed, but they decided to stay after seeing other people still in the water. Police said that although Thomas was aware Kanyce could not swim, she was allowed to get in the water. The affidavit states that Thomas told the child to stand on the steps with her feet in the water while the other children swam. Thomas told detectives that she was sitting in a reclining chair a few feet from where the child was playing, but that instead of watching the girl, she logged onto Facebook on her phone. The affidavit states that Thomas said she was on her phone for nearly 15 minutes while the children played. She later told detectives that in addition to being on her phone, she also was playing with her pit bull. At some point, an off-duty Dallas police officer who lives at the apartment complex and was working as a security guard came to tell the group the pool was closed. When Thomas began to gather the children, according to the affidavit, she could not find the 3-year-old. She asked the officer for a flashlight to search for her. The affidavit states that when Thomas walked in the pool, she kicked the child’s lifeless body. Thomas immediately gave the child to the off-duty officer, who began performing CPR while 911 was called. Kanyce was taken to Methodist Charlton Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Fired Choir Director Sues Pastors Who Beat Him Up, Stabbed His Mother

We're not sure if you recall this story from 2011 about a fight between a choir director and pastor that turned into a brawl with Tasers being used and someone being stabbed? It's a mess! Now, two years after the incident, the choir director, Simone Moore, has slapped New Welcome Baptist Church located in St. Elmo, Alabama, its pastor Darryl Riley, and deacons Harvey Hunt, Edwin Woods and Kevin Davis with a lawsuit after he claimed the pastors attacked them in a church office when he asked the church to repay a loan. Simone's mother was stabbed in the arm. Simone and Deacon Hunt were arrested and charged with assault. Back then the story was the fight broke out because Pastor Riley summoned Simone Moore, fired him and handed him his final check. Then Simone Tasered the pastor. Now, in his lawsuit, 46-year-old Simone (pictured, above) claims the fight broke out when he asked the church to repay a loan. The son and mother's two-page complaint filed by their attorney William J. Casey II of Mobile, is replete with misspellings and grammatical errors. In it, Simone says he was working as a minister at the church on Aug. 7, 2011, a Sunday, when "the Plaintiff was asks to come into a meeting after the Sunday service was complete. Regarding money owed to the plaintiff by the church." The lawsuit continues: "The meeting was being held in the church finance office directly behind the Sanctuary. The plaintiff brought his 69 year old mother to come with him to the meeting as a witness to the meeting. During the meeting the pastor refused to pay the Plaintiff monies owed to the Plaintiff. The Plaintiff was attacked by Harvey Hunt a deacon of the church who charged the Plaintiff with a knife and cut the Plaintiff on plaintiff's hand as the Plaintiff attempted to defend himself. Harvey Hutt then cut the Plaintiff on his face under the eye and forehead leaving a four inch scar above the Plaintiff's eye. As the plaintiff was struggling with Harvey Hunt he was attacked by Pastor Darryl riley, Deacon Earl Wood and Deacon Kelvin Davis and was striking in the face. Simone Moore was also struck in the ribs causing numerous severely bruised ribs. Upon seeing her son, the Plaintiff, bleeding and being attacked Agolia Moore exclaimed 'you cut my child, why did you cut my child'. Deacon Harvey Hunt then attacked Mrs. Agolia Moore, and cut the 69 year old in her right arm, requiring 9 stitches and on her right finger causing extensive injuries including skin graphs." The Moores are seeking damages for assault and battery, false arrest and "defermation of character." We think he means "defamation" of character. Oh, girl.

Woman Fined $219 For Not Paying Bus Fare With Exact Change

Last week, Pauline Tantost, with her two-year-old son, Xavier, in her arms, boarded a bus in Montreal, Canada. She went through her purse and pulled out a $5 bill. She said she offered it to the driver, who refused because the fare machine doesn’t accept bills. He warned her that failure to pay a fare could be bad news if the bus was to get inspected. Serial Woman Beater Terrence Howard Accused of Beating Ex-Wife, Again

We want to call Michelle Ghent a donkey, but that would be disrespectful to donkeys. Two months after her divorce from actor Terrence Howard was finalized she went on vacation with him. According to the folks over at TMZ, Michelle and Terrence (along with several members of his family) were vacationing in Costa Rica last week when an argument erupted. She claims Terrence exacted a vicious beatdown and threatened to kill her, again. Police were called, but no arrests were made. Terrence told investigators Michelle maced him, his adult daughter and another family member, which caused him then to react. TMZ's sources say Terrence concocted the mace story to excuse his behavior, while other "sources" say Michelle is lying about the beatdown. Where are the hospital report and photos showing Michelle's injuries? We don't know. Anywho, she's planning to file a restraining order. Wait, didn't she do that in 2011? I just can't! Terrence has a history of punching his wives in their face. Michelle says he started beating her seven days after their wedding. And he was arrested in 2001 for beating his first (?) wife. Ladies, if you date or marry Terrence How You Doin Howard, don't get mad when he beats you.

Update, Aug. 6: While Michelle heads to court today to seek a restraining order against Terrence, he is telling TMZ Michelle is crazy as a cocoa puff and is out to frame him. According to the police report obtained by TMZ, the couple had "a normal married fight" (even though they divorced in May), but he says things escalated when she threatened to kill him and his family then pulled out pepper spray and attacked him, his kids and his son-in-law. The story is ever-changing, so stay focused. Terrence also plans to appear in court today and plans to give the judge text messages from last May, in which an angry Michelle writes, "I would start hiding if I were u." In another text she writes, "Be careful when u leave your place. U should move." And in yet another she writes, "I know where u and ur family live. Watch yourself." And in another, Michelle writes: "You need to be put down once and for all. I will not stop until all knows who u are." Michelle, everyone knows Terrence is a member of the Rainbow Coalition and a woman beater. Is there anything else? Anywho, if Michelle is threatening you, why would you take her on vacation with you two months later? Maybe he felt she needed to get away because she's mentally ill? Terrence told police in Costa Rica tried to commit suicide in May and was hospitalized and diagnosed with paranoia. And she seems to confirm that in one of the texts, in which she says, "I'm just insane. I went to a crazy institute." Again, we ask: If she's batshit crazy and out to "out" you, why did you invite her on vacation with you and your family?

Update # 2: Michelle is in court and it's being reported she has a "huge" black eye.

Update # 3: A judge granted Michelle a restraining order, which requires Terrence to stay way from her. We got some more insight into what caused the beatdown in the documents she filed in court. According to the documents, the fight started after she told Terrence she had no interest in rekindling their relationship. She says Terrence hit her, glared at her and walked over to a bedside table where he kept two curved knives -- 4-6 inches in length. Michelle says she panicked and then pepper sprayed him. At that point she claims Terrence knocked her down and then kicked her repeatedly in the head. She also showed the court photos of her black eye (pictured, below). Additionally, she suffered contusions and swelling. Apparently this wasn't the first time they traveled together since separating back in 2011. Michelle says while he was beating her last week, he referred to a prior death threat he had given her on a trip to Bora Bora. Terrence filed a response to Michelle's complaint. In it he he claims she made up the story to damage him, timing it for his movie premiere of "The Butler." Terrence claims she threatened to kill him and he believes she's serious. He also says she's been admitted to a psych hospital in the past. The judge didn't buy it and granted Michelle the restraining order. These two crazy kids.

Update, Sept 3: According to documents filed by Michelle, Terrence threw her to the ground and threatened to slash his own wrists during their brawl in April. TMZ reports: In the court docs, Michelle Ghent claims the brawl went down in a Toronto hotel room in April ... when she found phone numbers for 6 women in his bag ... and promptly called the women while Howard was in the room. In her filing ... Michelle says the 44-year-old Oscar nominee threw her computer out a window, lifted her off the ground and slammed her down ... and reached for an X-Acto blade and put it to his wrist. Ghent claims Howard also pretended to hang himself with a belt -- and told her, "I'm just thinking if I should kill you first before killing me." Two days after the hotel fight ... Ghent claims Howard continued talking about suicide in text messages. Her filing includes dozens of texts she claims he sent -- in one, Terrence allegedly said he wishes he "wasn't such a coward and that I had the courage to finish what should have been accomplished in the abortion clinic 44 years ago." In another text Howard allegedly said he was going to get outpatient treatment for "his addictions and emotional instability" -- and offered to deposit more than $25,000 in her account to cover the damage to her computer. As we previously reported ... Ghent got a temporary restraining order against Howard last month after he allegedly punched her and kicked her during a July vacation in Costa Rica. For his part, Howard claimed she had pepper sprayed him. Terrence and Michelle's divorce was finalized just 2 weeks after the alleged Toronto brawl.

Meanwhile, in Idaho, Man Jailed For Having Sex With Cat

We don't know what's going on, but the sickos are on the prowl. This ↑↑↑ gentleman was jailed for raping a kitty cat -- no, not a cat trap, but an actual feline -- for a year.

Ryan Havens Tannenholz, 28, was arrested Thursday afternoon after a Boise police investigation. Investigators say Tannenholz had sexual contact by penetration with the animal at a Boise house on more than one occasion, police said. The illegal activity took place between January 2012 and January 2013, according to Deputy Prosecutor Cathy Guzman. A warrant was issued for Tannenholz’ arrest July 31, 2013. Police did not specify how the alleged sexual activity came to their attention, but Guzman said that it is not abnormal for investigations to take some time, especially if the crime is not immediately reported to law enforcement. “It just means that at this point was the time when they had probable cause to do the arrest,” she said. Guzman said she did not know whether the cat belonged to Tannenholz. She also said she could not release who had reported the crimes. Boise Police Department spokesman Charles McClure said that the charge was "definitely unusual." BPD has handled similar cases only once or twice in his eight years with the department, he said. The suspect has been charged with six felony counts of crimes against nature, and one misdemeanor count of cruelty to an animal. If convicted, Tannenholz would face a minimum of five years in prison for each of the felony counts. The misdemeanor charge carries a sentence of up to six months and a fine. Tannenholz’ bond was set at $250,000. He will have a preliminary hearing Aug. 16.

'The Police Killed My Sister's Only Child...It's Not Fair!'

Around 3am Sunday, police in the Bronx shot and killed 14-year-old Shaaliver Douse, who was shooting at another boy and then pointed the gun at officers. Last May, Shaaliver was charged with attempted murder after he shot a 15-year-old boy in his neighborhood. Shaaliver's aunt, Quwana Barcene, went in front the TV news camera to say: "My sister's only child, the police killed my sister's only child. I'm so sorry my sister got to go through this. She don't have no other kids. Who she gonna raise now?... It's not fair for the police to be able to kill our kids." Girl, bye!
