The Clipse's Manager Busted for Running $10 Million Drug Ring

Big things are happening down in Norfolk, Virginia. Really big things.

Anthony "Geezy" Gonzalez, who was the manager of hip-hop duo The Clipse, has been arrested and charged with 82 counts of drug trafficking stemming from his being the leader of a $10 million drug ring.

The drug ring, according to the Virginian-Pilot, distributed more than a ton of marijuana and more than 100 pounds of cocaine since 2003 throughout Virginia and at least six other states and parts of South America.

Gonzalez, 34, who managed the rap group until 2006, reportedly turned himself into police in Miami on Tuesday.

He was the owner of Encore Lounge nightclub located in Norfolk, Virginia. According to police, he bought the club in November 2007 from an unidentified co-conspirator for 40 pounds of marijuana and about $80,000 in drug proceeds. The nightclub was shut down closed earlier this year after more than 100 incidents of violence, shootings, drug dealing and disorderly conduct.


Now we find who is allegedly supplying the coke to that famous record producer.

Ice-T Calls Today's Hip-Hop 'Bubblegum Pop', Starts Own Label

Legendary rapper Ice-T has revealed he is starting a record company, which he hopes will infuse the hip-hop back into hip-hop.

"I'm starting a digital label through EMI," he told the Daily News. "I'm trying to get back to more hip hop. To me, music right now is like disco. It's very sing-songy, and nobody's dealing with content. That's what I miss. I miss Tupac and Big. You got Lupe Fiasco and TI now, but in general, we're swamped with bubblegum pop."

You know he's referring to Soulja Boy: The two were involved in a high-school type he said, he said feud. But Ice-T did say, Soulja Boy's "Superman" is responsible for killing hip-hop and that he needs to "Eat a d**k"

The un-named label already has artists on the roster.

Tyra's Stalker Found GUILTY... of Stalking

A Brooklyn supermarket worker was convicted this morning of stalking Tyra Banks - although the obsessed superfan won't do any jail time.

Brady Green, 39, was found guilty one day after Tyra testified the defendant's stalking left her afraid for her safety.

"The behavior was hounding," said Criminal Court Judge James Burke, who handed down the verdict after hearing closing arguments Thursday morning.

Burke, who said he would spare Green any time behind bars, told the defendant's lawyer to help the Banks-obsessed man find a new place to live.

"Put Mr. Green in a location where he can thrive," Burke said. "And that location is not likely to be the city of New York."

Green was convicted of stalking and harassment, and the judge extended an order of protection to keep him clear of Banks. Green could have faced 90 days in jail.

"I'm disappointed with the verdict, but I'm glad the judge did not send him to jail," said defense attorney Jeffrey Berman.

Although his lawyer portrayed Green as an uber-fan who posed no threat to Banks, prosecutors and the judge disagreed.

Triple Olympic champion Usain Bolt has been involved in a car accident in Jamaica, when his 2009 BMW M3 Coupe slid on the wet roadway. We wonder if track rival Asafa Powell was working on it, too.

Police confirmed the 22-year-old and two female passenger were taken to hospital in Spanish Town, although neither was seriously hurt.

He's fine.

"No injuries. Basically after the accident he came out of the vehicle and stepped on some thorns and a few of them got stuck in his toes, so that's about it for him," his manage Norman Peart said. "It's just a few superficial laceration on his toes. But, of course, we'll have to do further checks later to make sure he's completely fine.

If we were investigators, we would check the wiring and brakes. Just in case.

John Edwards' Affair Made Wife Sick. Literally.

Elizabeth Edwards writes in a new memoir that news of her husband's affair made her vomit in a bathroom.

In the book scheduled to be published May 12, Edwards says her husband, John Edwards, admitted to the betrayal just days after declaring his run for president in 2006. She says she wanted him to drop out of the race to protect the family from media scrutiny, but stood by his side anyway.

John Edwards went public with the affair in August after the National Enquirer reported he was the father of videographer Rielle Hunter's daughter.

Elizabeth Edwards never identifies Hunter by name. But she says that while her life may be tragic, Hunter's is "pathetic."

Beyonce Snubs Austrian Museum, Sends Look-a-Like So She Can Go Shopping

Beyoncè has angered a high-brow art museum in Vienna by sending a look-a-like to her own special personal tour of the museum, while she went shopping.

Tabloid dailies Oesterreich and Heute said Beyoncè (or was it Sasha) had been due to visit the Albertina, one of the Austrian capital's most famous museums which attracts one million visitors each year.

But Beyoncè, who gave a concert in Vienna on Tuesday, decided to blow off the museum to take in some shopping with mama Tina instead (pictured), sending a look-a-like to the museum and be photographed with Albertina director, Klaus Albrecht Schroeder.

The museum was understandably put out and said it would complain to Matthew Knowles, and her management.

"What a cheek," Albertina spokeswoman Verena Dahlitz told the Austrian news agency APA. "We were a little doubtful yesterday, but weren't really sure. It could have been her.

She says the fans were duped, too.

Beyoncè's concert in Vienna met with very mixed reviews and was only half-full, according to Oesterreich.

Are SJP and Matthew Broderick's Twins Being Carried By His Jumpoff?

Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband, Matthew Broderick are expecting twins girls. No, Sarah is not pushing out no babies - a "surrogate", who is seven months pregnant, will do all the work.

Which leads us to: Who is this mystery surrogate? Star magazine is reporting that she is 26-year-old divorcee.

Which then leads to: Is this "surrogate" the same woman Matthew was jumping off with last year?

The jumpoff is also 26 and their affair was found out last August, roughly seven months ago.

Leona Lewis Thrown From Horse

British singer (and amazing talent) Leona Lewis was headbutted and kicked after being thrown from the horse she was riding in Los Angeles this week. Luckily, she only suffered a busted lip.

She has her friend to thank. They gave the horse to her as a birthday gift.

One of those same friends said: “Leona has been riding since she was a child and has never had a fear of horses. So she was really shaken up when the horse turned on her. Something startled the horse and it flicked its head back and smacked Leona full in the face. She was knocked flying by the force of it. Everyone rushed over to see if she was OK, she was holding her face in agony. Thankfully she didn’t need any surgery, but she was told to stay at home and rest just in case she passed out with concussion. She doesn’t blame the horse though – it was just one of those things.”

According to "experts" hired by the Enqurier, Oprah has three years to live.

Why? They cite her ballooning weight due to her thyroid disease.

"Unless [she] undergoes lifesaving surgery to remove her thyroid, she'll eat her way into an early grave," the tabloid said. "Without the surgery, it's unlikely that Oprah will ever be able to control her weight, and she could suffer a fatal heart attack or stroke, those experts warn."

We tend to think Oprah will be OK, with Dr Oz and all that money on her side.

They say you can't buy good health, but having access to the best medical care and the money to pay for it, certainly makes your chances of survival exponentially greater.

Furthermore, we are no longer buying these "experts" predicting people's expiration date. If they were right, Michael Jackson would have been dead years ago.

Tyra Comes Face to Face With Stalker

Tyra Banks came face to face with the man accused of stalking her today - in court.

Brady Green, 39, is charged with stalking and harassing Tyra with a series of phone calls, unwanted flowers and an unwelcome visit in March 2008 to her W. 26th St. studio.

Tyra calmly testified in Manhattan Criminal Court she was terrified when Brady Green tried to slip past security into her Chelsea studio.

"I was about to leave, and a bunch of people from my staff were like, 'Stop, no, you can't leave!" Banks said of the day staffers barricaded her in a dressing room. "I know I have fans, but I've never in my entire career had my staff react in this way.

Green also sent Banks a bouquet of flowers with a note professing his love.

"The flowers did not scare me," she said.

Green's attempt to see her at the studio freaked her out.

"I fear the safety of my staffers. I fear the safety of my family. I fear the safety of people in my vicinity," Tyra said.

She admits to being shadowed by security - even when she goes jogging.

"I don't live that kind of sheltered, protected life. I like to walk around my neighborhood."

The unwanted attention from the hulking Green - who Banks said she had never seen until today - forced her and the show to ramp up security.

Green, who is cuckoo, will take the stand later today.

Old man Hugh Hefner wants Holly Madison back, admitting that he's still in love with her.

"I'd welcome Holly back with open arms because she is still the love of my life," he told Niche magazine.

Man Gets 60 Days in Jail for Drinking Boys' Urine

A Columbus, Ohio man begins his 60-day in jail sentence today after he was found guilty of "criminal mischief" - which is what they call collecting urine from public restrooms then drinking said urine in Ohio.

Alan Patton, who is a registered sex offender and says he has been drinking young boys' urine for more 40 years, turned himself in a day before he was expected to begin serving his sentence.

Poilce said Patton placed plastic wrap on toilets and foam cups in urinals to collect the urine.

He was arrested once in 2006 and again in 2008 for the same "crime".

Patton is banned from public restrooms, libraries, pools, recreation centers or anywhere children were likely to congregate during that time.

Now, there is a an actual law (Senate Bill 58) which criminalizes the collection of bodily fluids from another without their consent.

Charles Pugh is Detroit's First Openly Gay City Council Candidate

Charles Pugh is trying real hard to be Wendy's favorite HOW YOU DOIN' news anchor, but Steve Bartelstein has got that on lock. Real hard.

Charles, who once anchored the local Fox news, just announced that he will be running for a seat on the Detroit City Council, making him the first openly gay candidate to seek a seat in the Council.

"Who I love doesn't really have much to do with what kind of council member I would be," he said. "It's only historic in the sense that it hasn't happened before, but that's the last thing we're thinking about. I'm running because I love Detroit and I think I have a unique set of skills. For the last 10 years, it has been my job to go to every part of Detroit and listen to people."

Plus, there's madness right now in Detroit local government.

For instance:

• Council member Kwame Kenyatta, walked out on his mortgage in December, saying property values had sagged so much in the city that he was paying for a home now valued more than its worth.
• Monica Conyers, wife of U.S. Rep. John Conyers Jr., who has sparred with the mayor and others, drew criticism for using a city police detail to transport her son to his private suburban school each day.
• Mrs. Conyers also drew fire when it was discovered she had helped her brother, who is a convicted felon, get a city job. When first confronted about suspected nepotism, she denied the man in question was her brother, but later changed her story, the Detroit News reported. The brother eventually was fired over issues with absenteeism.
• Carolyn D. Chambers, a former office manager for Councilwoman Martha Reeves filed a lawsuit Monday alleging Reeves retaliated against her for trying to alert the councilwoman about employees inflating their work hours and falsifying time records.

Scandale! French First Lady Has a Sex Tape!

Hundreds of "highly intimate" images of Carla Bruni and an ex-lover have been stolen during a burglary in Paris.

Police fear they could now be made public, overshadowing the French First Lady’s official trip to Spain with her husband, President Nicolas Sarkozy.

The photographs and videos were taken during 41-year-old Ms Bruni’s affair with philosopher Raphaël Enthoven – the father of her child, Aurélien, eight.

Thieves broke into the apartment of actor Julien Enthoven, who is Raphaël’s younger brother.

Raphaël is believed to have entrusted the pictures to his 27-year-old brother because he did not want them to embarrass his new partner - or Mr Sarkozy, said a detective working on the case.

"The thieves appeared to know exactly what they were looking for – taking highly intimate prints, a camera full of further images, videos, and numerous computer files," said the source.

Ms Bruni's ex-lovers include British rock stars Mick Jagger and Eric Clapton, as well as a number of other public figures.

"We are doing everything we can to retrieve the images, and would ask anyone with any information about them to come forward immediately," the detective, who believes it's an inside job, added.

Sears Discontinues LL Cool J's Clothing Line

Due to the recession and lackluster sales of the LL Cool J clothing line, Sears is severing ties with the rapper and will no longer stock the cheap clothing, according to sources.

Since no one was buying (we know no one who shops at Sears or wears LL Cool J, personally) the company's projected sales of $100 million were not meet, despite slashing up to 50% off the retail prices to move product.

LL is still paid, though, and he will always be a rap icon. No one can take that away from him.

Skinny Beauty Queen Fights Anorexic Rumors

Miss Universe Australia finalist Stephanie Naumoska has hit back at claims she is anorexic and insists she is a healthy role model for women.

The 19-year-old, who's 5'11" and claims to weigh 108 lbs, appeared on "Good Morning America", says she wanted to "defend all the skinny girls out there."

The beauty contestant sparked a debate about models' weight, when she appeared in a red string bikini at Australia's Miss Universe Pageant earlier this month.

"I've never been anorexic or bulimic. I've never been malnourished or underfed. I live a healthy, active lifestyle,' she told Good Morning America," she told Diane Sawyer. "I think I'm a positive role model for girls. I definitely think I've been victimized. I was singled out at that competition. I want to defend all the skinny girls out there, all the celebrities and people who get criticized about their appearance. Some people are naturally skinny.'

She insisted she never deprived herself of anything and was shocked her appearance on the competition caused such a backlash.

"I'll never forget that moment I found out," she said. "I woke up in my hotel room. I was looking in the mirror, and I saw the reflection of the TV behind me. I've never cried more in my entire life. I think that it's horrible. They don't know me and they don't know what I eat every morning or for lunch or dinner. They probably don't think I eat anything, but I do. I'm very hurt and upset by what they've been saying. I think it's very unfair,and I also think it's very unfair just to all the other girls out there who have the same body type as myself."

Health officials said Stephanie has a body mass index of just 15.1 - well under the benchmark of 18.5 for underweight; experts say a healthy weight for someone her height is 135 pounds.

Melissa Rivers Explains Seismic 'Apprentice' Blow-Up

If you're fans of the Celebrity Apprentice as we are, then you were waiting for last Sunday's episode after it was teased in the episode prior "Rivers Delivers!" We had to know what the hell went down. And boy, oh, boy was it something.

Melissa Rivers, who felt like an outcast after teammates Annie Duke and Brande Roderick conspired to get her fired. And they were successful, because Melissa was let go. To our shock and amazement; Brande should have been fired!

But, here comes the part where "Rivers Delivers!"

Melissa and her mother Joan (whom we looooooooooove and adore, btw) went berserk on Annie, Brande and producers.

Joan called Brande a "stupid blonde" and Annie a "white trash" poker player. And together: they were deemed "a Nazi and a follower."

Plus, Melissa refused to provide an exit interview - the first time ever that happened, we think.

But months after the show wrapped, Melissa apologizes for losing her cool, and says it was was bottled up emotions which were gonna explode some day.

"I kept all my emotions under control in the boardroom," she said. "Am I pleased I blew up? No. Did I say what I think a lot of people wanted to say to the clique that threw them under the bus? Absolutely."

She says she returned to the show the next day and apologized.

"I really wanted to take a deep breath. It had been a very difficult few weeks of being attacked emotionally and personally. There's only so much you can take."

Tyra's Stalker is Delusional, Too. He Admits To Being Watched By Aliens!!!

As the trial for the man who is accused of stalking Tyra Banks goes on, new information is being revealed about Brady Green's state of mind (read: crazy antics).

Ray Noia, a producer, testified yesterday that he was asked by his boss to check on Brady after he slipped into the Chelsea studio of the "The Tyra Banks Show" asking to see his "very good friend."

"He wouldn't leave when they told him Tyra wasn't there," said Noia.

Green, 39, is charged with harassment and stalking following his unwelcome visits in March of last year to the studio, where he was on the show's "do not admit" list.

Manhattan prosecutors contend Green threatened to kill an employee who refused to give him the address to the studio. He eventually found his way to the W. 26th St. location, where an assistant to the supermodel-turned-talk show host busted him as he looked for Banks in an off-limits area.

"He'd explain, 'I'm trying to see her. She's a good friend of mine. Is there any way I can contact her?'" said Cynthia Simpson, an ex-staffer at "The Tyra Banks Show."

Simpson said she saw Green earlier in the day, when he was trying to score tickets.

"He came in and asked when's the show starting, how long would it take, can he get tickets," Simpson said. "He said he was a friend of Tyra's [and] that she knows he was coming to see her."

Natasha Randolph, a secretary at the show, testified that Green called "six to 10 times," and that he sent Banks flowers.

The wacky drifter told the cop who arrested him he was being watched and recorded by satellites.

Green could see Banks in person Wednesday, when she may take the witness stand.
