Cops Suspended Over Leaked Rihanna Beatdown Photo

It was the photo the world was waiting to see. The photo that news agencies far and wide were clammoring to find. TMZ found the Rihanna beatdown photo, now two Los Angeles police officers who sold leaked the much sought-after image -- taken hours after she was beaten, choked, bitten by Chris Brown -- have been suspended, according to OK! magazine.

Two female police officers - one based at the Wilshire Area station, the other at Hollenbeck Area - are now reportedly under suspension. Internal affairs officers have searched their homes, offices, and lockers as part of the investigation which was launched to locate who leaked the photo.

The two now face disciplinary action and a possible charge of identifying a victim of domestic violence if their involvement in the leak is proved.
