Report: Whitney is Probably, Certainly, Allegedly Riding The White Horse Named Cocaine Again

You know we love us some Whitney. While her much-lauded comeback album has fizzled and garnered no Grammy nods (we think she was robbed!), the singer's friends are continuing to tell the National Enquirer that Whitney's behavior is reminiscent of when she was doing drugs. As you may recall, Whitney told Oprah last September she did crack, that Bobby spat in her face and she's still tempted by the drug. Also during that interview: She called Oprah a liar.

This latest source says:

"Everyone is worried about her. Whitney seems to go from being a nervous wreck to being completely out of it in a short period of time -- just like she did when she was freebasing and using crack cocaine. She is still drinking and with Whitney, alcohol and drugs have always gone hand-in-hand. She's worked hard so to get back on top, it would be tragic or it to go up in smoke because she can't stay clean."

The Enquirer says Whitney was "freaking out" about going to Europe to promote her new album, but, as usual, her mentor Clive Davis was there to calm her down and she ultimately got on the plane.

But friends say the strange outbursts continued. She was able to pull herself together after this wardrobe malfunction, but Whitney, allegedly, lost it backstage at the Italian version of "The X Factor."

"Whitney managed to hold it together on stage, but it was chaos behind the scenes. It was as if she didn't know where she was half of the time," the source added. "You can't help worrying that she's slipped back unto some of her bad habits."

Now her people fear her comeback tour may be in jeopardy if she can't get it together.
