Parents Didn't Allow Their Daughter to Attend Classmate's Birthday Party Because She's Black

When Harmony Jones celebrated her 10th last Friday, one of her friends and classmates was unable to attend because her parents are racists. The girl wrote Harmony a letter that read, in part, “[maybe] I will not be able to come to your birthday sleepover because my dad will not let me go because you are black not trying to be [racist].” Despite her friend's absence, Harmony had a fantastic birthday party.
