Applebee's Kicks Out Customers Over Noisy Kids

Eli Gau, his wife Lillian Maliti along with their sons ( 3-year-old son Ryan and 1-year-old son Ethan) were kicked out of a Applebee's in Katy, Texas, last Sunday because the boys were "making too much noise." The store manager called police, who met the family in the parking lot. A deputy gave them a warning for criminal trespassing. Say what now? An Applebee’s spokesperson apologized and said the management team had mishandled the situation. The restaurant also offered free dinner passes for family members, but they declined. Damn right. "Our franchise owner-operator has apologized to the Guest and invited the party back into their restaurant to demonstrate the standard of service each of our Guests deserve to receive during every visit. As a brand, our focus is and must always be providing the best possible experience for all of our Guests at all times. When a disruption in our restaurants affects any of our Guests, it is the manager's responsibility to step in to resolve the situation. It is exceedingly rare that a situation requires the assistance of law enforcement, and our franchisee is using this instance as a teaching moment to better manage future disruptions in their restaurants." Lady Sentenced to Life in Prison For DUI

Granted, it was her sixth driving while intoxicated conviction. Rose Ann Davidson, 44, of San Marcos, Texas, was sentenced to life in prison by a jury yesterday. Rose was pulled over by a cop who noticed her driving erratically in the early morning hours of July 27, 2012. She was drunk and the officer found an open container of beer inside her car. Rose had five prior convictions for DWI dating back to 1996 and, at the time of her arrest in 2012, she was recently released from jail. We're not even going to try to justify Rose's illegal actions or bring up the race and class issue, but our country's sentencing guidelines just seem haphazard. Remember the man who got 203 in years in prison for stealing $100?

Meanwhile, In Florida, Man Tries to Exorcise Elderly Girlfriend

Authorities in Holiday, Florida say 54-year-old David Edward Benes held down his 80-year-old girlfriend and tried to “exorcise her and the get the devil out of her.” According to police, the incident began on Monday, when David took the batteries out of the house phones to keep his live-in girlfriend of three years from calling for help, and then he took her car keys. The exorcism continued Tuesday. Despite David's efforts to prevent her from calling for help, the woman was somehow able to contact police, who found her sitting outside crying, with scratches on her arms. David told cops he was too drunk to remember what happened, and his girlfriend started the fight because "she is crazy." He was arrested and charged with domestic battery on a person older than 65, tampering with a witness and false imprisonment.

Pastor Jailed For Raping 20 Parishioners

Jorge Juan Castro, 53, who's an associate pastor of Las Buenas Nuevas Church in Norwalk, California, was arrested last week for sexually assaulting at least 20 adult female parishioners from 2004 to 2012 and threatening to have them deported, if they told police. According to police, Jorge "used the word God as a mode to get them to conduct several sex acts. He said that he would cleanse them of any wrongdoings, demons they may have. After the assaults he threatened to report them to immigration or subject them to public ridicule if they disclosed the sexual assaults." This happens so often, we can't keep count. Jorge remains jailed in lieu of $2 million bail.

In a statement, the BBC said: "This morning as Simon McCoy was preparing to introduce this story, instead of picking up his tablet to hold as he went to air, he mistakenly picked up a ream of paper that was sitting next to it. "In the rush of live news, he didn't have an opportunity to swap the items, so simply went with it."

Cabbie Fined For Having Too Many Passengers Says One Person Was a Blow-Up Doll

A taxi driver in Manchester, England, was slapped with a $693.11 fine after he was stopped last weekend for having too many passengers in his cab. The legal limit is eight passengers, and cops say Bash Ali had nine passengers. Bash protested the fine, telling authorities he had eight human passengers and one inflatable mannequin dressed as a woman.

Paul Scott, prosecuting, told the court that the officers had spotted the yellow cab driving along Whitworth Street at around 9pm on Saturday, March 30. They said strobe lights were flashing inside and music was blaring out – with passengers shouting to people on the street. They pulled over the cab and counted seven women and two men in the back. Mr Scott added: “Under interview, he [Ali] stated that one of the passengers was a mannequin and not a human being. When it was put to him that two officers had performed a headcount he stated that the officers must have been mistaken. “There are dangers, clearly, for anybody inside the vehicle and anybody outside the vehicle when it is overloaded. So essentially what the council says is that the vehicle was overloaded and that they were all human beings.” Ali, a married dad of four, told the M.E.N after the case: “I have no faith in the justice system. I see all sorts of sights in this job – men dressed as women, women dressed as men and yes, plenty of dolls dressed up too.”

Usually when you hear about a man and horse, you expect this, but a funny thing happened on Patrick Schumacher's trip to his brother's wedding. He was arrested in Boulder, Colorado today after police witnessed him horse wandering into traffic. According to police, Patrick was slumped to his right side as he crossed streets and forced pedestrians off the sidewalk. It gets better. Police say Patrick had a small dog in his backpack and beer in one of his saddlebags. He told officers he lost his license so he was riding his horse from Bryce, Utah (a 600-mile journey by car) to attend his brother's wedding. He was arrested and charged with riding a horse while under the influence of alcohol, animal cruelty charge, prohibited use of weapons and a reckless endangerment charge. The horse and the dog were impounded.

Lady Stabs Son to Death During Argument Over Ice Cream

We already have several great candidates for the Mother of the Year award -- you know, like this lady and this lady and this lady. Now let's add this ↑↑↑ lovely lady from Chicago to the list of finalists. Robin Erwin was arrested last weekend and charged with murder after stabbing her 17-year-old to death during an argument in their home over ice cream. She told police her son "walked into the knife." Bwahahahaha. I can't!

Robin Erwin, 31, of the 1700 block of 223rd Street in Sauk Village, called 911 Saturday and told police her son, Diontae Erwin, was fatally injured when he walked into a knife, authorities said. The Cook County State's attorney's office brought a charge of first-degree murder after the Lake County, Ind., medical examiner's office determined the knife had entered under Diontae's clavicle and pierced his heart. Witnesses overheard an argument about ice cream shortly before the incident, prosecutors said. Bond was set today in the Markham courthouse at $750,000 for Erwin. Robin Erwin’s mother and Diontae’s grandmother, Ruth Erwin, declined to comment this afternoon. A makeshift memorial of balloons, signs and a stuffed bear sat under a tree in the front yard of the ranch-style home. Police said they found Diontae about 12:15 p.m. Saturday. The boy was taken to Franciscan Saint Margaret Health in Dyer, Ind., where he was pronounced dead at 12:41 p.m. Authorities seized 130 grams of marijuana from the home and also arrested Larry J. Gray, 21, for violating his parole on a conviction for unlawful use of a weapon. Two neighbors said this afternoon that they often hear loud arguments at the home and front yard. Renard Williams, who lives across the tree-lined street, said the Erwins moved to the neighborhood about 18 months ago and police have visited the home several times. Sauk Village police referred all questions about the incident to the Cook County state’s attorney’s office. Jerry Willoughby, who said he has lived in the neighborhood for 37 years, agreed the Erwin home has been the source of noise problems and frequent visitors, including from authorities. Williams, who has two sons, said he wishes things had turned out differently for the Erwins. "I'm sad about that incident," he said, "but I'm glad I told my boys to stay away from over there."

Gentleman Goes on Violent Crime Spree, Goes Out in Hail of Bullets

A 24-year-old Florida man is dead after committing a string of robberies and rapes before leading cops on a high speed chase this afternoon in Tampa. Tuesday night police say Charlie Christopher Bates broke home where a boyfriend and girlfriend were asleep. The suspect woke them at gunpoint and demanded money, then pistol-whipped the boyfriend and committed a sexual act on the girlfriend before fleeing the scene. Then last night he broke into a home where several people were watching the football game. He tied up the men, held them at gunpoint and raped four women inside. Shortly there after, he broke into a woman's apartment and attempted to rape her, but left without harming her because she began "praying and citing Biblical scripture." Then he broke into a nearby apartment where 25 people were having a party. The sheriff's office says he forced them all into a bedroom, held them at gunpoint, and even fired shots. Police have linked Christopher, who was convicted of domestic violence battery from 2009, with several other home invasions. This afternoon, cops spotted Christopher and gave chase. He shot out the back window and fired at cops, who returned fire, killing him. In the end he got what he wanted because this is Florida, after all.

Granny Leads Police on High-Speed Chase, Asks If Her Arrest Is Going to Make the News

Ain't nobody got time for jail. That's what 41-year-old Susie Thomas thought out loud when a cop tried to pull her over for run a red light while talking on her cell phone in Sumter, South Carolina. Susie led police on a 10-minute chase that topped 100 mph all the while her unrestrained 4-year-old granddaughter was in the back seat. Cops eventually caught her and arrested her. She told police she ran because she had outstanding warrants. She has warrants in three counties for forgery and counterfeiting. In fact, she spent 14 months in prison on forgery charges. While in the police cruiser on her way to jail, Susie told the officer "I ain't got time for the Sumter County jail" and asked if her arrest was "going to be on the news." Yes. She was charged with running a red light, reckless driving, child endangerment, and driving with a suspended license.

Restaurant Goes Out of Business, Leaves Nasty Note for Entire Town

Sava! Italiano, a fine-dining restaurant that in the small town of Amarillo, Texas, closed last month after a year due to lack of business. Before they bailed, however, someone left a big eff you to the town's residents in the form of a note taped to the inside of the restaurant. The restaurant closed August 18, but the note wasn't found until last night, when a would-be customer stopped by for dinner. He found the nasty note, photographed it and posted it to the Internets.

Man Claims This Lady Forced Him at Gunpoint to Have Sex With Another Woman

This is just an insane story. A Chicago man told police this lady ⇧⇧ (Cierra Ross) offered him a ride then pulled a gun on him and forced him to have sex with her friend. After he splashed off they stole $200, his credit cards and cell phone. Is this for for real?

A 33-year-old man was allegedly held at gunpoint and forced to have sex with a woman in the backseat of a car after the woman’s female companion offered him a ride on the Near North Side over the summer. The man begged one of his tormentors — who demanded he place his hands on her breasts and buttocks during the July 26 attack — to stop, Assistant Cook County State’s Attorney Amanda Pillsbury said Thursday. He eventually escaped, running out of the car naked from the waist down and into a taxi where a cabbie helped him and drove him home to the suburbs, Pillsbury said. The man had been walking in the 400 block of North Kingsbury early that morning when Cierra Ross allegedly pulled up to him and offered to give him a ride. While she was driving, Ross pulled out a black revolver and ordered the man, who was in the passenger seat, to get in the back and have sex with her friend, Pillsbury said. The woman in the backseat demanded that he take off his clothes and the man complied by taking off his shoes, pants and underwear before he was assaulted, Pillsbury said. The two women also took $200 from the man, his credit cards and iPhone, according to a police report. When the victim noticed a nearby cab’s headlights, he decided to flee and seek help, Pillsbury said. The cabbie let the man use his cellphone to email himself a picture of Ross’ license plate number, Pillsbury said. The victim later identified Ross in a lineup, Pillsbury said. Ross, who also uses the alias Octavia Brown, was arrested on Tuesday, the police report said. Her age is listed as either 23 or 25 in various paperwork. The other woman has not been charged. Ross, who appeared in court Thursday in Jordan gym shoes and a black and red striped shirt, has previous misdemeanor prostitution convictions. The mother of two currently is a waitress at Denny’s, her defense attorney told Judge Israel Desierto. Desierto described the facts of the case as “somewhat unusual” before ordering Ross, of Olympia Fields, held in lieu of $75,000 bail for aggravated criminal sexual assault and armed robbery.

His parents got a whiff, barged into the room and read him the riot act. His mother was hysterical. She tells her son he continues to disrespect her by smoking in his room. She grounded him "forever." His father demanded he hand over the stash. The boy's friends recorded the entire conversation for the world to hear.

Promoter Sues Gucci Mane For Fraud

Gucci Mane, the rapper with a penchant for violence (and possibly murder), is being sued by a party promoter who claimed the rapper (whose real name is Radric Davis) accepted payment for two shows in Florida back in 2009 knowing he could not leave his home because of travel restrictions imposed by a court because he violated his parole for -- you guessed it -- assault. Stephen Gold is also suing the rapper's production company So Icey Entertainment, booking agent Mizay Entertainment, its officer Johnnie Cabbell, management company Hitt Afta Hitt Entertainment and its officer Debra Antney.

Gold claims he lost $445,079 when Davis/Gucci failed to perform at two concerts in 2009. "These concerts were canceled because Gucci was restricted from leaving the state of Georgia under conditions of his probation stemming from a felony assault in 2005, and for his subsequent violations of those conditions," Gold says in the lawsuit. "Despite knowledge of these travel restrictions and subsequent probation violations, defendants engaged in a widespread scheme scheduling concerts they knew would not take place, including the concerts involving Gold that are the subject of this complaint." Gold claims the rapper agreed to perform at a concert in October 2009, then rescheduled it to November 2009, and offered to attend an after party for an additional fee. Before any of it happened, though, Gold says, he learned via the Internet that Gucci was not allowed to leave Georgia. And, Gold says, Gucci and his co-defendants refused to refund his $24,000 deposit plus $175,650 in expenses. "Defendants' failure to refund plaintiff's deposit is evidence that defendants intended to either temporarily or permanently deprive Gold of his money," the complaint states. [...] Gold demands $445,079 and punitive damages for RICO fraud, wire fraud, common law fraud, civil theft, breach of contract, unjust enrichment and conversion.

This Gentleman is Wanted For Attacking Women, Trying to Smell Their Feet

Police in New York City have released the above video, hoping it will lead to the apprehension of the a who attacked two women in the Bronx on August 30. According to police, the man struck twice within 20 minutes, grabbing the women from behind and choking them. After choking the 18-year-old victim and forcing her to the ground, police say he removed the woman's shoes and began to smell her feet. He fled the scene as the woman struggled to stand. The second incident happened around 1:30am; He grabbed a 24-year-old victim by the neck and tried to open her pants. He fled when the woman resisted.

NBA Baller Lamar Odom Checks into Drug Rehab + His Alleged Drug Dealer Speaks Out

Everybody knows drugs are the devil and the devil has control over basketball player Lamar Odom. Last month, family and friends of the 32-year-old crackhead feared he was missing when no one heard or spoke to him -- except his drug dealer, no doubt -- in three days. Just days prior, his wife Khloe Kardashian kicked him out of their California home after he rejected an attempt at an intervention. His problems became headline news when he was arrested for DUI last week. (He failed to submit to a drug test and, as a result, his license was automatically suspended for one year.) Now People is reporting Lamar "realized he needs help" and has checked himself into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center. (He entered rehab in August 2012, too, but left after just three weeks.) This morning, a man who claimed to be Lamar's drug dealer put all of his business in the streets. The man claims Lamar has spent more than $50,000 on cocaine over the past three years, he's witnessed the basketball player smoke the illegal drug and revealed Lamar smoked crack before a game. Wow.

Meanwhile, in Tennessee, Lady Jailed For Stealing, Hiding $5,000 in Her Rectum

Christie M. Black, 43, of Bulls Gap, Tennessee, who stole $5,000 from her boyfriend and hid the cash in her rectum is hospitalized for injuries she suffered while stuffing the cash in her "hiding place." True story. According to police, the boyfriend was suspicious that Christie was stealing from him. He set up a trap at 1am Tuesday by placing two envelopes filled with money totaling $5,000 in $100 bills and some medication in an old medicine bag on a foosball table inside his home. When he woke up at about 7 o'clock, he noticed that Christie was still up, so he checked the bag and discovered that the contents were missing. He confronted her and she admitted that she wrapped up the cash and stuck it in her rectum. She then used a toilet brush and tongs to try to pry out the stolen goods, but ended up injuring herself. The boyfriend called 911 and when they arrived, Christie told them she stole the money and medication because her boyfriend was going to kick her out, and she needed money for a place to live. She was transported to a hospital where surgeons removed the wad of money from Chritie's rectum. From all the things we've found (not us, personally) in people's butts -- a load 10-inch gun and cocaine -- cash seems tame.

Some residents of South Fulton County, Georgia are livid that Beauty Master, a beauty supply store that sells weaves and wigs, will open in their neighborhood. One resident, Dawn Strickland, says: "The beauty supply market is really, truly, not what mirrors this overall community." Another adds, "You know, they might as well put a liquor store there. Pastor Tells Parishioners 'Only White People' Should Be at the Front Door

Makeda Pennycooke, who's the pastor at Freedom House Church in Charlotte, recently sent parishioners who act as greeters for the predominantly black church's 9am service that their service is no longer needed because they're black. The email read, in part: "We anticipate having an increase in the number of people visiting and attending Freedom House over the next few weeks...first impressions matter [the church wants] the best of the best on the front doors....We are continuing to work to bring our racial demographic pendulum back to mid-line," she continued in the email. "So we would like to ask that only white people be on the front doors." Yes, Pastor Pennycooke is also black and going to church remains bad for you.
