Frustrated That His Flight to Jamaica Was Overbooked, Man Strips Naked in Airport
A man reportedly stripped naked in the Charlotte Douglas International Airport this morning after he became angry about a flight being overbooked. According to eyewitnesses, the unidentified man was attempting to get on board a US Airways flight to Jamaica early Wednesday morning. "I seen some people running and I was wondering what they was running from and people were standing there snickering, so I walked over and [an airport employee] told me the man was angry over the Jamaican flight," an witness told the local TV station. "He had his clothes on, at that point, and then he started standing there with his arms crossed and hollering at the lady at the desk. He stood there for a moment and then started taking off his clothes." Eyewitnesses say the man didn't say anything as he was taking his clothes off and he stood in the concourse naked for about an hour before he was escorted away by airport medics. Police say he will not be facing charges. Sounds like he was headed to one of those clothing-optional resorts in Jamaica and just couldn't wait.

Man Jailed For Indecent Exposure, Says Dog Made Him Do It
Kale Markeith Redden, 37, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, was arrested Sunday afternoon and charged with indecent exposure. BUT, according to him, a dog made him do it. According to police, they received a call from a man who, along with his 9-year-old daughter, observed Kale whip his penis out in front of them just before 4pm. When cops arrived, Kale told them he saw a dog trying to urinate in a yard so he “pulled his penis out and tried to urinate because the dog urinated, but was unable to.” When asked why he did that, Kale had no answer. And neither do we.
Sidebar: Kale Was arrested last August after he called 911 and told dispatcher he had just killed someone. When cops arrived at his home, however, Kale told officers he didn't kill anyone, he called 911 “so police would come talk to him.” He was arrested and charged with communicating a false alarm. This man is obviously troubled. Let's hope he gets the help he needs before it's too late.

WWE Flashback: Transgender Man Wants to Go Back to Being a Woman
36-year-old Tinisha, who says she was born a woman then had sexual reassignment surgery and became a man, wants advice on how she can go back to being a woman. So, why did she call Wendy you ask? We haven't a clue, but this call and caller don't make a lick of sense; she contradicts herself with every statement. We're utterly confused. This sounds like Tinisha wanted to get on the radio and made up a story in order to do so -- and it worked. We could be wrong, though, and her gender identity struggle is completely real.
Boston Marathon Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Sentenced to Death
Afte 14 hours of deliberations, the jury has sentenced Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to death by lethal injection. Dzhokhar was convicted last month of all 30 federal charges against him, 17 of which carried the possibility of the death penalty. Of the 17 death penalty-eligible charges he was convicted of, the jury sentenced him to death on 6 counts. Three people were killed and more than 260 were injured when two pressure-cooker bombs packed with shrapnel exploded near the marathon finish line April 15, 2013. The jury has been reviewing a 24-page verdict sheet since late Wednesday afternoon, and spent all of Thursday deliberating. In closing arguments this week, prosecutors depicted the 21-year-old as a remorseless terrorist who participated in the April 2013 bombing to make a political statement. Defense attorneys portrayed Dzhokhar as the troubled follower of an older brother who brainwashed him into joining a violent plan.
Mother Who Left Sons in Hot Car During Job Interview Sentenced to 18 Years Probation
The woman who was arrested March 2014 after leaving her then 2-year-old and 6-month-old son in a hot SUV while she interviewed for job at a State Farm Insurance in Scottsdale, Arizona was sentenced Friday to 18 years supervised probation. Shanesha Taylor, 36, had previously pleaded guilty to one count of child abuse in an effort to resolve a case that garnered national attention after her tearful mugshot was widely shared on the internet. Shanesha's defense argued at her sentencing that the mother of four did not mean to hurt her children, and had made a bad judgment call. The lengthy probation sentence was handed down to ensure that Shanesha's children would be adults when she completed the terms. Shanesha was arrested on March 20, 2014 after someone heard crying coming from a car parked in an office complex and alerted police. According to reports, Shanesha told police she left them there because she could not find day care. In addition to her sentence, she will have to complete parenting classes and a treatment program for domestic-violence offenders.

B.B. King is Dead
B.B. King, whose scorching guitar licks and heartfelt vocals made him the idol of generations of musicians and fans while earning him the nickname King of the Blues, died late Thursday at home in Las Vegas. He was 89. His attorney, Brent Bryson, told The Associated Press that King died peacefully in his sleep at 9:40 p.m. PDT. He said funeral arrangements were underway. Clark County Coroner John Fudenberg confirmed the death. Although he had continued to perform well into his 80s, the 15-time Grammy Award winner suffered from diabetes and had been in declining health during the past year. He collapsed during a concert in Chicago last October, later blaming dehydration and exhaustion. He had been in hospice care at his Las Vegas home. He had 15 biological and adopted children. Family members say 11 survive. King's eldest surviving daughter, Shirley King, said she was upset that she didn't have a chance to see her father before he died. In the late 1960s, King -- born Riley B. King on Sept. 16, 1925 -- helped usher in a blues revival among baby boomers, who idolized his soulful blues, making hits out of "The Thrill is Gone." He was one of the most visible icons of the blues for decades. But while he was unknown until then to white audiences, King had already been a rhythm and blues star on the chitlin' circuit for years, since 1951. For most of a career spanning nearly 70 years, B. B. King was not only the undisputed king of the blues but a mentor to scores of guitarists, who included Eric Clapton, Otis Rush, Buddy Guy, Jimi Hendrix, John Mayall and Keith Richards. He recorded more than 50 albums and toured the world well into his 80s, often performing 250 or more concerts a year. He played a Gibson guitar he affectionately called Lucille with a style that included beautifully crafted single-string runs punctuated by loud chords, subtle vibratos and bent notes. His style was unusual. King didn't like to sing and play at the same time, so he developed a call-and-response between him and Lucille. A preacher uncle taught him to play, and he honed his technique in abject poverty in the Mississippi Delta, the birthplace of the blues.
Sidebar: President Obama issued this statement on King's passing: "The blues has lost its king, and America has lost a legend. B.B. King was born a sharecropper's son in Mississippi, came of age in Memphis, Tennessee, and became the ambassador who brought his all-American music to his country and the world. No one worked harder than B.B. No one inspired more up-and-coming artists. No one did more to spread the gospel of the blues. Three years ago, Michelle and I hosted a blues concert at the White House. I hadn't expected that I'd be talked into singing a few lines of 'Sweet Home Chicago' with B.B. by the end of the night, but that was the kind of effect his music had, and still does. He gets stuck in your head, he gets you moving, he gets you doing the things you probably shouldn't do - but will always be glad you did. B.B. may be gone, but that thrill will be with us forever. And there's going to be one killer blues session in heaven tonight"

Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson Accused of Sexual Harassment, Again
A former aide in the Sacramento city manager’s office filed a claim last month against Mayor Kevin Johnson alleging the mayor sexually harassed her multiple times over a seven-month period at City Hall. The complainant is a 32-year-old Estrellita Ilee Muller is seeking $200,000 in damages after she says the mayor pressed his body against her, felt her torso and tried to kiss her.
According to the claim filed last month with the clerk’s office, Muller was summoned to the mayoral library on the fifth floor of City Hall by one of Johnson’s security officers on Dec. 26, 2013. Johnson closed the door when he and Muller entered the library and gave her “an unwelcome and close hug, pressing his body against claimant, then felt her along her torso,” according to the claim. “(The mayor) pressed his body against hers and asked her if she ‘felt it.’ He then attempted to kiss claimant. Claimant was forced to push herself away,” the claim states. Johnson then allegedly told Muller he “had a thing for her” for four years, according to the claim. Muller told Johnson she was married and the mayor “proposed that claimant enter into a sexual relationship with him, asking claimant if she was ‘game.’” Muller declined, according to the claim. Johnson “persisted” and told her not to answer immediately. He said he would walk by her desk in the city manager’s office and told her “if the answer was ‘yes’ claimant was to give him a thumbs up and if the answer was ‘no,’ a thumbs down.” The claim states that Muller’s supervisors at City Hall “failed to take appropriate action to protect” her from the alleged incident or “subsequent incidents of harassment.” The claim states Muller told “several representatives of the city regarding the conduct of Mr. Johnson on several separate occasions” and that those representatives “offered no helpful advice and took no action in response to receiving the information.” “Plaintiff alleges on information and belief that Mr. Johnson had acted inappropriately with respect to other city employees and representatives in the past and that representatives of the city knew, or had reason to know, of facts establishing this,” the claim states. “Notwithstanding this, city representatives did nothing to effectively deal with the situation or to protect plaintiff and similarly situated employees.” According to the claim, “the harassment continued.” In July 2014, Johnson told Muller, “Hey lady…you are avoiding me,” according to the claim. On Aug. 1, 2014, Johnson approached Muller at her desk and held her hands, according to the claim. The mayor “then manipulated her hands so her thumbs would go up and then down and said that he wanted to see if her thumbs worked saying ‘some people’s thumbs are funny.’ Claimant told Mr. Johnson that her thumbs worked fine but that they would never go up,” according to the claim. The claim states that Muller told her superiors of each interaction. Muller notified City Attorney James Sanchez of her allegations on Sept. 24, 2014, according to the claim. Sanchez “sent her the city’s internal discrimination complaint resolution guide and sexual harassment policy.” A week later, Muller “was required to attend a meeting with Mr. Johnson, during which time he made a point of establishing eye contact with her,” the claim states.During a press conference today, the mayor, who's married, denied he sexually harassed Estrellita. “The City of Sacramento takes any claim of harassment seriously, as it should. The incident described in the complaint simply never happened. Ever.” That's that.

In 1997, Johnson signed a draft confidential settlement with a Phoenix teenager who had claimed the former NBA player molested her, according to a copy of the document obtained by The Bee in 2008. The agreement amount was $230,000, according to the document. The settlement stemmed from a 1996 investigation by Phoenix police into an allegation that Johnson, who was 29 at the time, disrobed in the presence of a 16-year-old girl and touched her inappropriately. The allegations were made to police by the girl’s therapist. Johnson denied the allegations and no criminal charges were filed in the case. In 2008, soon after Johnson launched his first mayoral campaign, a police report filed by a former teacher from Sacramento High School surfaced alleging that a 17-year-old student at the school told the teacher Johnson had approached her from behind, massaged her shoulders and touched her breasts. Sacramento police later said the girl recanted her story and found the allegation to be unfounded. Johnson founded the nonprofit St. HOPE organization that operates Sacramento High School as a charter school. A separate allegation made in teacher Erik Jones’ report charged that Johnson tried to get into bed with a volunteer from the Hood Corps program, an urban volunteer program that was part of St. Hope. Police did not investigate that allegation because the young woman was not a minor.

Florida Mayor Accused of Bribing Voters, Again
Anthony Grant, the newly-elected mayor of Eatonville, Florida, is being accused of bribing voters in the March 7 election. The former mayor (Bruce Mount) -- the man Anthony beat to become mayor -- filed a civil complaint in which he claimed Anthony paid people to vote for him via absentee ballot. Grant finished second at the polls, but ended up with more than three times the number of absentee ballots (196) as Mount (69). Grant previously served as mayor for 15 years before being voted out in 2009. Grant is part owner of a downtown Eatonville motel that is rented to some registered voters. The voters he's accused of bribing are tenants. The lawsuit says Grant agreed to lower tenants' rent in exchange for a vote, or paid them in cash or beer. Mayor Grant denies this and chalk it up to sour grapes. While the lawsuit is a civil case, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the allegations against the mayor.
Sidebar: Back in 1991 when Mayor Grant was first elected, he was charged with and later cleared of voter fraud.
Regarding this new allegation, here's the mayor denying any wrongdoing.

Two Baltimore Correctional Officers Jailed, Charged with Looting Convenience Store
Two Baltimore correctional officers were charged Wednesday with looting a downtown convenience store during unrest last month over the death of Freddie Gray, according to the Baltimore Sun.
Tamika Cobb and Kendra Richard were caught on video taking merchandise from the 7-Eleven on the corner of W. Baltimore and Howard streets on April 25, the state Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services said. It was one of several stores that were damaged and looted in the city when protests turned violent over the death of Gray, 25, a week after he suffered a severe spinal injury in police custody. The officers, who were both assigned to facilities downtown, were charged with theft and burglary and placed on unpaid leave, the department said. In the video, posted to YouTube, Richard is seen coming out of the store holding Slim Jims, while Cobb has Tostitos chips, police said. Police identified Richard as the woman exiting the store wearing yellow tennis shoes, black Adidas jogging pants and a jean jacket. They said Cobb was the one in yellow shoes, blue pants and a black sweatshirt with a large white graphic on the front. Public Safety and Correctional Services Secretary Stephen T. Moyer praised investigators for "immediately" following up on a tip that led to the officers' arrest. "We will not allow the vast majority of our employees who are honest and hardworking to be tainted by the actions of a few," Moyer said in a statement. They remain jailed on $35,000 bond.

Melissa Rivers: Kathy Griffin 'Sh-t All Over My Mother's Legacy'
While promoting her new book at the 92nd Street Y in New York, Melissa Rivers sat down with Hoda Kotb for an all-encompassing interview about her life and the death of her mother, the legendary comedian Joan Rivers. Then the topic of Fashion Police came up and the kerfuffle that ensued after comments were made over Zendaya Coleman's fake dreadlocks at the Oscars. New host Kathy Griffin left the show and issued some bullsh!t statement about being a feminist and the show was not in line with her comedy and she "didn't want to use [her] comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference." We told her to go take several seats in an empty Yankee Stadium. Melissa says Kathy wasn't the right choice to take over as host after Joan died last year. ""I'm just going to say it wasn't a match on a lot of levels," she says. "My biggest complaint was the feeling that she kind of sh!t all over my mother's legacy in her statement on leaving....And I know that that was not an intentional reading of it, but that's how I felt. But I know that wasn't how it was intended." Melissa says had her mother be alive, none of this would've happened. "She would've gone to the press and immediately would've been 'Are you serious? Oh, please, all of this over a wig? Literally it was a wig. Just all relax.'...She would've called Giuliana and yelled at Giuliana. She would've called Kelly and yelled at Kelly and said 'Stop it!' and she would've listened to them both cry and complain about each other and she would've said 'Is everyone over it? Let's go to work and make a funny show.'" Hear, hear.
Here's the video. Melissa's comments on the subject of Fashion Police begin around the 19:00 minute mark.

Kelly Price Says Pharmacist Refused to Give Her Pain Meds Because She Lives in Low-Income Neighborhood
R&B singer Kelly Price, who lives in Carson, California, went to her local CVS pharmacy Tuesday night to fill a prescription for painkillers (which she needed for upcoming dental surgery), but the pharmacist refused to dispense the controlled substance in the middle of the night because of the neighborhood. “I was offended for the people of this neighborhood," Kelly said. "I was offended for anybody who lives in a neighborhood that may not be considered the upper echelon where expensive homes are, or where six- and seven-figure earners live....What if it were somebody that walked in and it was a life-or–death situation, and they were denied the ability to fill a prescription just because of the location of the store.” Enraged, Kelly called up the local TV station to vent. Since she got the media involved, CVS called her to personally apologize for the pharmacist's actions and issued a statement that said it's not "the company’s policy to decline to fill certain prescriptions after midnight.”

Entire U.S. Men's 4x100m Relay Team from 2012 Olympic Games Stripped of Silver Medal
As the old adage goes: Cheaters never win. According to the Associated Press, the International Olympic Committee notified the U.S. Olympic Committee that the men's 4×100 relay team has been disqualified and all the medals withdrawn because sprinter Tyson Gay (pictured, second from right), who ran on the third leg of race, tested positive for a banned substance and served a year-long suspension in 2013. The team eventually finished in second place, but with those medals being taken away, Trinidad and Tobago will officially be awarded the silver medal and France will get the bronze medal. Jamaica won the race and will keep its gold medal.
The entire U.S. men’s sprint relay team was stripped of its silver medal from the 2012 London Olympics on Wednesday as a result of Tyson Gay’s doping case, two officials with knowledge of the decision told The Associated Press. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the decision has not yet been announced. The International Olympic Committee notified the U.S. Olympic Committee by letter that the 4×100 relay team has been disqualified and all the medals withdrawn, the officials said. The letter asks the USOC to collect the medals and return them to the IOC. Gay returned his own medal last year after accepting a one-year doping suspension and the loss of results going back to July 2012, but the status of the U.S. second-place finish in London and the medals of Gay’s relay teammates had remained in limbo until now. Under international rules, an entire team can be disqualified and stripped of medals because of doping by one member. Gay was a member of the American team that finished second in London behind a Jamaican team anchored by Usain Bolt. The Americans set a national record in the final with a time of 37.04 seconds. The other U.S. team members losing medals are Trell Kimmons, Justin Gatlin, Ryan Bailey, Jeffery Demps and Darvis Patton. Kimmons, Gatlin and Bailey ran in the final with Gay. Gatlin, who is in Qatar for the opening Diamond League meet of the season on Friday, told the AP he was not aware of the decision and had no comment. Gatlin, who won the 100-meter gold medal at the 2004 Athens Games, served a four-year doping ban from 2006. Gay tested positive for steroids at the U.S. championships in 2013. He received a reduced suspension — rather than a two-year ban — because he cooperated with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency’s investigation that led to an eight-year ban for his former coach, Jon Drummond. Gay’s results were annulled going back to July 15, 2012, the date when he first used a product containing a banned substance. If the London medals are reallocated, the silver will go to Trinidad and Tobago, which finished third in 38.12 seconds. The bronze would go to the French team which placed fourth in 38.16 seconds. The rules of track and field’s world governing body, the International Association of Athletics Federations, mandated that the entire U.S. team be disqualified, but the final decision was up to the IOC. Drummond was the coach of the U.S. relay team in London and placed Gay on the team. According to the USADA decision in Drummond’s case, the athlete took a banned substance in July 2012 with the coach’s knowledge. The IOC has previously stripped U.S. relay teams of medals retroactively for doping, including three teams from the 2000 Sydney Olympics. The U.S. was stripped of gold in the women’s 4×400 and bronze in the 4×100 following Marion Jones’ admission of doping. Jones returned her medals, but her teammates appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport to keep theirs and won their case in 2010. The court said IAAF rules at the time did not allow entire teams to be disqualified because of doping by one athlete. The IOC also stripped the U.S. men’s 4×400 relay of their Sydney gold after a doping admission by Antonio Pettigrew. In 2012, American runner Crystal Cox was stripped of her gold medal from the 4×400 relay at the 2004 Athens Olympics after admitting to doping. The IOC did not disqualify the rest of the team because it was unclear which rules were in effect at the time.

Student Who Claims to Be Disabled After Realizing College is Hard Sues University, Professor
Jennifer Burbella of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania is suing Misericordia University where she was a nursing student for more than $75,000 because she failed to pass a course twice -- and, according to her, it was entirely the university's fault! According to her lawyer, who filed the federal lawsuit recently, Jennifer failed the required course twice because of disabilities including anxiety, depression and stress. Because the professor failed to help Jennifer by giving her additional time to complete exams and didn't answer when Jennifer called upon him during a test, those actions by the professor caused Jennifer to fail the course -- twice. Wait, what now? College was stressing Jennifer out and she suffered from anxiety while taking exams? If that's the standard, then shouldn't ALL college students who fail courses be able to sue their professors and universities. College is hard. Nursing programs are especially difficult. Every college student is stressed out. Girl, good night!

Here's Video of KFC Workers Hosing Down Chicken on Filthy Pavement Behind Restaurant
Everybody knows fast food places are not safe for life, so this video of workers at a KFC restaurant in Braamfontein, South Africa literally throwing chicken on the dirt street and hosing it down, is not at all surprising. After the video, which was first posted to Facebook went viral and KFC took out a full page ad in a local South African newspaper that read: "We're sorry. We want to say sorry, from the bottom of our hearts, for what happened at our restaurant in Braamfontein. Our team members breaded some chicken before realising it had to be thrown away because it didn’t meet our high standards. Worried by their mistake of wasting breading, they decided to wash it off. However, washing chicken on the floor – even chicken we were going to throw away – is totally unacceptable and goes against our strict processes. We know that we’ve let down the people who are most important to us – you. We want you to know that we take this very seriously and have taken action to make sure this never happens again. We promise to continue to hold ourselves to the highest of standards and deliver you the great tasting chicken you know and love."

Forever 21 Stores Are So Full of Junk It's Endangering Employees' Lives
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), an agency of the Department of Labor that regulates workplace safety and health, is citing Forever 21 -- again! -- because the fast fashion retailer is putting employees' lives at risk. The agency has proposed fines of $165,000 against Forever 21 after receiving complaints from workers of hazardous work conditions at the store located in Westfarms Mall in West Hartford, Connecticut.
OSHA announced today that Forever 21 Retail Inc. store at the Westfarms mall is endangering empoloyees because of obstructed emergency exit routes. The fashion retailer’s employees at Westfarms Mall in Farmington were among the chain’s workers put at risk of not being able to exit the store swiftly because of fire or another emergency, U.S. Department of Labor inspectors determined after receiving a complaint. “Emergency exits and hallways were blocked by store inventory. Boxes were unsafely stacked, which created serious safety threats,” said Warren Simpson, Occupational Safety and Health Administration area director in the Hartford Area Office. “Four stockroom employees were assigned to work in these conditions. At the time of the inspection, they were working around-the-clock before Black Friday, when inventory levels were higher.” During the November 2014 inspection, boxes were stored in the hallway leading from the retail space to an emergency exit, which reduced the exit to 23 inches of passable space. Required space for exits is a minimum of 28 inches. Additionally, the emergency exit routes were obstructed by piles of boxes as high as 10 feet. Boxes were stored unstably and could fall and injure workers. Forever 21 employees have been exposed to these dangers previously. OSHA has conducted 37 inspections of company stores in the past five years. It cited the women’s fashion retailer 12 times for similar hazards, including stores in Bridgewater, New Jersey, in 2012 and Burlington, Massachusetts, in 2013. Due to the recurring nature of these hazards, OSHA has cited Forever 21 Retail Inc. for three repeated violations. Proposed fines total $165,000 for the conditions at the Westfarms Mall store. We wonder what happened with the Forever 21 security guards who choked a deaf man they suspected of shoplifting?

This 16-year-old Girl Just Earned a Master's Degree, Starts PhD Program This Fall
Thessalonika Arzu-Embry, a 16-year-old from Chicago earned a master's degree in strategic foresight and organizational leadership through an online program offered by Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia last weekend and will start a PhD program in aviation psychology this fall. In addition to all that, Thessalonika, who was home schooled and started college at age 11, has already written three books! She hopes a degree in aviation psychology will give her the knowledge to work for aviation companies and reduce what she called "human factor errors," the types of problems that can cause plane crashes. Using psychology to recognize when a pilot is agitated, is dealing with stress or is having other issues that negatively affect job performance can help a company avoid potentially deadly mistakes in the air, she said. "I feel honored for the opportunity to help others at an early age. I feel very glad to enter college and help people," she said. Kudos to you young lady! Kudos!

Hospital Accused of Selling Black Babies
Last month, a Missouri woman was reunited with her daughter after being told her baby died at birth 50 years ago. Since that story broke, more than 100 women who gave birth at the Homer G. Phillips Hospital in St Louis back in the 1950s and 1960s and was told their children also passed, began to wonder if their children are alive, too. Bombshell tonight! The attorney representing the woman who was reunited with her daughter is alleging the hospital was in the business of selling babies. "We have found and we have discerned that in the 50s and 60s there was the availability on the market of infant black children," attorney Al Watkins said. "Pay for play. Cash on delivery. You want a baby? Get some money." The attorney is now petitioning the court unseal adoption records from hospital. He believes hospital staff and personnel, lawyers and possibly the courts were complicit in baby stealing and selling scheme. “Someone knows something and they’re not talking," he says.

George Zimmerman Shot in Face
George Zimmerman, who as acquitted of fatally shooting Trayvon Martin in 2013, was involved in a shooting incident at around 12:45pm Monday in Lake Mary, Florida. According to police, George was shot in the face during a confrontation with a male driver. They said the injury appears to be minor. “He walked normally into the ambulance, so he wasn’t being helped or nothing,” eyewitness Ricardo Berrare told WESH. "They actually backed up the ambulance next to his driver side so he could walk into the door." Video from the scene showed a single bullet hole (pictured, below) in the passenger window the pick-up truck George was in. "The officer was talking to him through the back window because the other one had a hole in it. It was all shattered," Ricardo said. Police say they believe the shooting was related to an "ongoing dispute" involving George and another person.
UPDATE: Police believe the shooter is Matthew Apperson of Winter Springs, Florida. He and George were involved in a road-rage incident last September. In that incident, George allegedly threatened to shoot Matthew after he pulled up beside him. Matthew called 911 and told the dispatcher "George Zimmerman was the driver, and they were threatening to kick my [expletive] and to shoot me." He didn't press charges and George was not arrested. As for today's incident, police clarified that George was not shot in the face. Instead, he suffered some kind of facial wound, possibly from flying glass or some other type of debris. (His lawyer has confirmed this and said George has been released from the hospital.) No charges have been filed.

This Gentleman Hid a Loaded Handgun in Rectum
While not as big as impressive as the man who smuggled a 10-inch handgun into jail inside his backside or the man who hid the content of an entire medicine cabinet inside his backside, this gentleman ^^ tried it.

Andy Cohen Says He Smashed Lance Bass
On Tuesday night's episode of “Watch What Happens Live," host Andy Cohen spilled the tea as guest Sonja Morgan asked him extremely personal questions. One of those questions: Who is the most famous person he ever had sex with with? After thinking about it for a second, Andy said Lance Bass. (For those of you who are of a certain age, Lance was a member of NSYNC, a boy band popular in the '90s.) Andy didn't provide any additional information about the tryst. High School Senior Asks His Mom to the Prom Because She Wasn't Able to Attend Her Own
Danotiss Smith, an 18-year-old senior at Waterford Kettering High School in Waterford, Michigan asked his mother, Belinda, to his senior prom after learning the sad reason behind why she missed her own 24 prom years ago.
"I was flattered," Smith of Pontiac, Michigan, said. "I asked him, 'You don’t want to ask someone else? 'You don’t have a special friend, someone cool that you can have fun with?' I'm still elated. I'm just so happy that he wanted to share his day with me." Smith told ABC News that she missed her own senior prom back in 1991 after her mother died, leaving she and her siblings in a dire financial state. "I wasn’t able to attend," she said. "It goes back to when my mother passed in '85 and our whole life basically changed overnight. I remember my sister going to prom and I couldn’t wait to go. I was asked to the prom but we didn’t have the money. I didn’t want my friends to know I didn’t have the funds, so I just acted like I didn't want to go. Every day after school leading up to prom I cried," she added. "I just wanted to go so bad. From there, I said 'When I have kids, my kids are going to prom.' I wanted them to have what I didn’t have." Danotiss, who knew of his mother's heartbreaking story, asked her to accompany him to the senior prom as his date about a month ago. "I just felt like it was right to ask her cause she couldn’t go to her prom," he said. "She couldn’t afford it back then so I thought it would be pretty sweet to ask her. Some of my friends thought it was pretty cool that I'm taking my mom. Some said it's kind of weird," he said with a laugh. The prom will be held on Friday.

These People Were Jailed for Operating Fake Police Department
Three people, including one who works for California Attorney General Kamala Harris, were charged after claiming to operate a police department with jurisdiction in 33 states and Mexico and that traces its roots back 3,000 years. Los Angeles County sheriff's officials arrested David Henry (pictured above, left), Tonette Hayes (pictured above, center) and Brandon Kiel (pictured above, right) last week and charged them with suspicion of impersonating officers as members of the Masonic Fraternal Police Department.
Three people, including an aide to the California attorney general, were arrested for impersonating police officers and creating a fake law enforcement agency called the Masonic Fraternal Police Department. On April 29, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department detectives served search and arrest warrants in the 28000 block of Linda Vista Street and the 17000 block of Sierra Highway, both in Santa Clarita. Three people were arrested and identified as David Henry, 46, of Santa Clarita, Tonette Hayes, 59, of Santa Clarita, and Brandon Keil, 31, of Los Angeles. While detectives searched the two locations, badges, identification cards, weapons, uniforms, police-type cars and other law enforcement equipment were found. Henry, Hayes and Kiel were all arrested for impersonating a peace officer and booked at the Santa Clarita Valley station. Henry also faces charges of perjury under oath. Kiel, who worked as deputy director of community affairs at the California Department of Justice, faces charges for misuse of government identification. He is on administrative leave and the department could not comment on an ongoing personnel matter or criminal investigation. Near the end of January, chiefs of select law enforcement agencies throughout Southern California received letters stating Henry had been elected as chief of the so-called MFPD. Shortly after the agencies received the letters, many started receiving phone calls from Kiel, who identified himself as the chief deputy director of the organization. He began requesting meetings with agency chiefs. A meeting was scheduled between members of MFPD and Capt. Roosevelt Johnson with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station on Feb. 4. During the meeting, the group claimed they were descendants of the "Knights Templar" and that their police agency was created in 1100 B.C. The members also claimed their department had sovereign jurisdiction in 33 states and Mexico. The meeting raised red flags, and LASD detectives began an investigation into the group. "They couldn't answer basic questions about the MFPD's jurisdiction and the overall department mission," Deputy Amber Smith said. Detectives conducted their investigation in collaboration with several other law enforcement agencies and found that MFPD was not legitimate. Detectives also believe the three suspects were attempting to deceive citizens in the community and that other people may be associated with the fictitious organization. We wonder if the Los Angeles County sheriff's checked to see if these fake cops have real prisoners in a jail somewhere.

Lady Sues United Airlines For $5 Million Because WiFi Didn't Work While Flying Over Ocean
Cary M David of West Orange, NJ filed a $5 million class action suit in federal court against United Airlines because, according to her, the airline failed to properly inform passengers that live television and Internet service aren't available on all flights. True story.
A West Orange woman paid United Airlines $7.99 earlier this year to watch in-flight DirectTV on a four-hour flight from Puerto Rico to Newark. However, the system worked for only about 10 minutes toward the end of the Feb. 21 flight, while approaching Newark, according to a $5 million class-action lawsuit filed in federal court in Newark by Cary M. David of West Orange. The lawsuit claims the Chicago-based carrier has defrauded customers by allegedly not disclosing that its DirectTV and WiFi services, which passengers can acquire at their seats by swiping a credit card, do not operate over water or outside the continental United States. United denies the allegations. In a legal memorandum filed on Friday along with a request that the judge dismiss the case, the airline said on-board passengers are indeed informed of the services' limits by notices that are displayed on seat-back monitors before they confirm their purchases. According to the document, the notices say "Live DirectTV programming is not available while the aircraft is outside of the continental United States" and that "Wi-Fi service is available over the continental U.S." United also said in the memorandum that the lawsuit has no merit because the woman's claims are pre-empted by the Airline Deregulation Act of 1978, which prohibits states from enacting or enforcing a law, regulation or other provision that relates to an air carrier's service. [...] District Judge Susan D. Wigenton is scheduled to consider United's motion to dismiss on June 1. According to court documents, her ruling will be decided "on the papers," with no appearances by lawyers required at that time. When Cary (whose actual damages are $7.99) and her lawyers get thrown out of court, the judge should order them to pay United $5 million for filing this ridiculous lawsuit. Just sayin'.

Lady Files Lawsuit Against EVERY Gay Person on Earth
Sylvia Ann Driskell, 66, from Auburn, Nebraska filed the federal lawsuit Tuesday against "the homosexuals" asking a a federal judge to rule on whether homosexuality is a sin. Sylvia describes herself as an ambassador of “God, And His, Son Jesus Christ [sic]” and will serve as her own lawyer in Driskell v. Homosexuals. In her seven-page petition, written entirely in cursive (you can read it, below), Sylvia doesn’t reference any case laws for U.S. District Judge John M. Gerrard to consider, but she does quote the Bible and Webster’s Dictionary. She writes: “I never thought that I would see a day in which our great nation or our own great state of Nebraska would become so compliant to the complicity of some people[’s] lewd behavior that homosexuality is a sin and that they the homosexuals know it is a sin to live a life of homosexuality. Why else would they have been hiding in the closet.” She adds: “I, Sylvia Ann Driskell, ambassador for the plaintiffs – God and His son, Jesus Christ – petition your honor and the court…to be heard in the matter of homosexuality. Is homosexuality a sin or not a sin?” The documents go on to use passages from Leviticus and Romans to contend that God punished homosexuality as an “abomination.” Sylvia wrote that she had seen the “boasting of the defendant, the homosexuals, on the world news” and had monitored increasing rights for gay couples in the US, where several states have legalised same-sex marriage. “I contend that homosexuality is a sin and they, the homosexuals, know it is a sin to live a life of homosexuality,” the documents say. “Why else would they have been hiding in a closet?” Webster’s Dictionary defines sin as the “wilful breaking of a religious or moral law," Sylvia said, before inferring that the children of gay parents were more likely to be gay themselves. “Never has our great nation the United States of America and our great state of Nebraska been besieged by sin,” she wrote. “The way to destroy a nation or state is to destroy its morals – look what happen to Sodom and Gomorrah two city because of the same immoral behavior that’s present in our nation, in our states and in our cities. God destroy them (all sic). I’m sixty-six years old and never thought that I would see the day in which our great nation or our great state of Nebraska would become so compliant to the complicity of some people’s lewd behavior.” She claimed it was “imperative” to judge homosexuality a sin and “start standing up for the moral principles on which our great nation…was founded." Floyd Mayweather's Baby Mama Slaps Him With $20 Million Defamation Lawsuit
Days after winning the boxing match against Manny Pacquiao and, as a result, added more than $180 million to his bank account, Floyd Mayweather is at the receiving end of a lawsuit. His former girlfriend and mother of his three children, Josie Harris, has filed a $20 million defamation lawsuit against the convicted woman beater after said convicted woman beater denied being a woman beater in a recent interview and accused her of doing drugs.
Josie Harris, mother of three children with Mayweather, claimed she’s been harmed by Mayweather’s lies to Katie Couric in an interview shown on Yahoo Global News two weeks ago. Not only did Mayweather deny beating Harris, the boxer said he had to “restrain” her because she was high on drugs during the 2010 incident in Las Vegas. “Did I kick, stomp and beat someone? No, that didn’t happen,” Floyd told Couric. “I look in your face and say, ‘No, that didn’t happen.’ “Did I restrain a woman that was on drugs?” he continued. “Yes, I did. So if they say that’s domestic violence, then, you know what? I’m guilty. I’m guilty of restraining someone.” The courts didn’t share Mayweather’s view of the facts. He was convicted of misdemeanor domestic battery and served two months behind bars in 2012. Mayweather said he was only convicted because he’s black and successful. “I’m black. I’m rich. And I’m outspoken. Those are three strikes right there,” he said, explaining away the conviction. Harris filed her civil complaint against Mayweather on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, a rep for her attorney said. [...] Mayweather’s 2010 beating of Harris was particularly disturbing because he did it in front of his young son. Koraun Mayweather, 10 at the time, wrote a statement to police describing the attack: “I saw my dad on my mom … my dad was hitting her.”In 2014, Josie gave this interview to USA Today in which she spoke of the abuse she suffered at the hands of the 38-year-old convicted woman beater. (According to his Wikipedia page, Floyd has been convicted of beating at least four women, including Josie.)
