Whitney Houston Checks Into Drug Rehab -- Again!

It's been years in the making, but crackhead Whitney Houston is back in rehab. This makes her third stint: She first entered rehab in 2004 and again in 2005. Kristen Foster, a representative for the 47-year-old singer confirmed this morning that Whitney "voluntarily" checked into an out-patient program for drug and alcohol treatment. Whitney has been a mess for years now. Even after her 2009 announcement on Oprah that she'd kicked drugs, no one believed her -- not even her friends -- and she was seen smoking crack in a bar! in public! and her ex-husband Bobbbbbaaaaaaaaaaay Brown attempted a drug intervention. (Let's not to even mention all of her troubling performances while on tour.) Still, she denied, denied, denied; Last year Whitney called reports that she's still using drugs "ridiculous". We can't blame Bobbbbbaaaaaaaaaaay for this though, part of the blame should be placed on Whitney's out-of-control 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina -- who's also addicted to cocaine and giving her mother all sorts of heartache. We sincerely wish Whitney the best with her sobriety.

Sidebar: According to the folks over at TMZ, Whitney checked into the facility about 10 days ago and she's able to leave the treatment center to conduct daily business or whatever -- as long as she has an escort.

Update, May 10: Prince has banned Whitney from his concerts, according to this report from TMZ. "According to our Prince sources, Whitney attended several Prince concerts in the last few weeks and appeared to be 'intoxicated' at each show — though our sources never saw Whitney drink alcohol or take drugs. We're told Whitney was constantly badgering Prince's staff to let her up on the stage … but Team prince shot her down every time because P's people 'didn't want her to embarrass herself.' Our sources say Whitney's erratic behavior, coupled with repeated and excessive ticket demands became too much for Prince — and his team ultimately banned Houston from his concerts."


Update, May 11: According to the Enquirer, both Whitney and her out-of-control daughter are in rehab. After Whitney threatened to send Bobbi Kristina to drug rehab because she's "ruining the family name," Bobbi Kristina told her: "What about you? You're the one who's destroying us! You're the one who's a mess! If you can do drugs and booze, so can I! Now you're demanding I go to rehab. If I go, you're going too!" Touchè, Bobbi Kris. So, both of them are in separate outpatient drug rehab centers in Malibu, California -- 15 miles apart.
