The state of Florida is a lovely place, but some of the citizens are crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy and insane. Deanna Headley is a crazy or she's on drugs or she's crazy AND on drugs. The 23-year-old stole five DVDs from a Walmart in Hallandale Beach, Florida yesterday afternoon -- but that's the beginning of the story which, we swear, could be a movie plot. Anywho, a guard noticed Deanna stealing the DVDs and gave chase. Deanna -- who had her 5-year-old son in her arms -- raced across six lanes of traffic and when the guard caught her, she punched him in the chest and ran to the to the roof of a nearby four-story building. But wait! It gets worse. When she came down from the roof, she hit the guard again and jumped into the Intracoastal Waterway (which is between 10 and 15 feet deep). Did we forget to mention that she still had the child under her arms and she can't swim and refused to hand over the child to rescuers? She was arrested and charged with robbery, battery, child abuse and attempting a felony which could cause death; the baby was placed in the care of Department of Children and Families.
